1 ★Worst experience with an airline app, for example the 4 buttons on the main screen to check bookings etc never worked so I used the options bar on the left side.....until the option bar only showed by name and none of the options. Normally don't write reviews but having a flight so early in the morning in another country I can say this app didn't help at all
2 ★worked fine for years. now it suddenly required a new registration and then would not remember the flight I just added. only "found" the flight a day after online check-in was completed. the i couldnt get the boarding pass to display, even though I got it to my email. but it would display my partners boarding pass in my app. useless at this point.
1 ★I try to add booking however when tryong to type in my name the app enters additional letters creating a garbled mess.

2 ★Originaly there was no issues at all, but now the downloaded boarding passes(which i downloaded within the app) would refuse to open, making me very reliant on wifi. An offline mode would be incredibly usefull. Switching between menus, the app seemingly crashed when i was changing between boarding passes.
1 ★in almost all cases, App doesn't recognise newly booked flights, need to add manually. even so, App forgets the flight and upon next logon no booked flight appear again. useless! I also miss offline boarding pass, always had to take screenshots. Update (04/10/2022): App is still absolutely badly programmed, wouldn't let me save my API, doesn't automatically insert my frequent flyer # even if it's in my profile, need to retype booking # in sequential process, etc. Seriously, Swiss??
1 ★Unable to login to my account using the app although using the same login information I can successfully login with my browser. I always get a message to check my internet connection! I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change in results. The app wasted an hour or more of my time and left me frustrated with the experience.
1 ★Impossible and weird process of flight search and booking. Triple 'we cannot process due to technical reason'. I was enforced to create a useless profile. Very bad. Expectations were much higher, noting that Switzerland is iconic and perfect in many things. Well, I found out that avia booking is out of it. Sad.
2 ★Disappointed so far. 1) In Advanced Passenger Information the middle name can only be 10 characters long 2) In Advanced Passenger Information (and in the general booking flow on the website) when you enter two names seperated by a space, if you have two middle names or a first name with a space, the space is removed after you have saved the whole page, or completed the booking or whatever. You see this when you get your flight confirmation email or if you go back and look at saved data.
1 ★The app does not do its primary job: if I book with the website, it does not fetch the bookings automatically and asks me to log in again and then type in the booking reference. Avoiding this is the very point of using such apps. Also, responses to user's actions are delayed by several seconds and you wonder if the UI really reacts and tap again and again. It might be there is a lot of useless spaghetti code in the app itself or the APIs feeding it data are unstable or flaky. A disappointment.
5 ★For now. the best cabin crew & ground staff helpful & informed every Swiss flight has been a pleasure from boarding to embarking best app to.. actually useful
1 ★Quite literally won't allow me log in (I have an account and can log in via Web). Hope my upcoming flight is a better experience!
