Record a trail on your Wear OS watch
You can record a trail on your Wear OS watch in standalone mode (not connected to an Android smartphone) or in paired mode (connected to an Android smartphone).
The application also allows logging in to your existing SityTrail account (from the screen which is the most on the left) when the watch is used in standalone mode.

4 ★J'utilise SityTrail chaque semaine et j'en suis très satisfait. L'application est super pratique pour planifier et suivre mes randonnées, avec des cartes détaillées et une interface intuitive. Cependant, elle consomme beaucoup de batterie, ce qui peut être gênant lors de longues sorties. J'ai aussi rencontré quelques bugs mineurs sur la montre. Malgré cela, c'est une excellente application pour les amateurs de randonnée. Je la recommande vivement !
3 ★This app works well but is using way too much battery. 100% when leaving. Nothing left after 5.6km. So just a bit more than an hour.
3 ★I use this app quiet often to track dowloaded routes or even plan my walks before I start. Works great in tracking and adding photos on the track. Only negative point for the moment is the saving of your recorded track when you finish. If the track is long or contains photo's the saving is very slow... Seems like it wants to send it directly to the cloud. It even happens this process hangs and you lose the entire track. Should be better to save it locally first and try to upload at a later time.
1 ★It insisted on recording when not requested. After starting out more or less indicating where I was it stopped showing any location anywhere near where I was. Useless :(

5 ★I have been using this for some years. You can use it in combination with your laptop or stand alone on your smartphone. You download the IGN hiking maps you need for the region you are hiking, cycling etc. Then you can use them off line. Choose your region then select the hike you want from the many uploaded. Start your hike and your progress is tracked. Go off course and you are warned. Tech support is prompt and helpful in French and English.
