Description

Use Firefox Focus for everything you want to keep separate from your main browser — for all those get in get out and forget about it moments. No tabs, no fuss, no muss. Block online trackers too. One tap, and your browsing history is completely destroyed.

Firefox Focus is the perfect get in/get out, search and destroy, I’m on a mission that’s none-of-your-business — web browser.

NEW DISTRACTION-FREE DESIGN
When you open Focus, you just get the awesome bar and the keyboard for super quick searching. That’s it. No recent history, no past sites, no open tabs, no ads trackers, no distractions. Just a simple, minimal design with menus that make sense.

ONE TAP TO DELETE HISTORY
Erase your history, passwords and cookies with just a tap of the trash button.

CREATE SHORTCUTS
Pin up to four shortcuts on your home screen. Get to your favorite site even quicker without typing anything.

FASTER BROWSING WITH AD BLOCKING & TRACKING PROTECTION
Firefox Focus blocks many ads you’d normally see on web pages due to our enhanced tracking protection so you get much faster page load speeds, which means you get to the stuff you want a lot faster. Focus blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social trackers and those sticky ones that come from things like Facebook ads.

BACKED BY A NON-PROFIT
Firefox Focus is backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the web, so you can trust it not to sell your data.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★giving up on this app after using it for a long time. too often a page will not load entirely, and/or any attempt to load a page just yields an about:blank page with no content and an error message complaining about an insecure connection, even for a simple Google search over https. force stopping the app resolves the problem temporarily, but this is a lame workaround.
1 ★I love this app and I've been using it as my main browser for a year. I've loved the sleek design and it's performance along with the privacy. Though recently, whenever I've switched to another application on my phone, and back to firefox focus, the screen goes black and unresponsive. Reloading the page or typing a new search doesn't work. The only way to fix it is completely clear all tabs, ruining my browsing. I really want to keep using this app. Please fix this, I'm not the only one.
2 ★The concept is very good, who doesnt want a really secure browser with minimal stuff getting in the way of browsing? However, Focus has some big issues with usability and design that ruin the experience. For starters, opening a new page is an esoteric ordeal, and, as far as I can figure out, is only doable by holding a link and opening it in a new tab. That's right, there's no actual "new tab" button. Additionally, it often times doesnt load pages when you click on them. Thats all.
4 ★Very useful app for browsing without wanting to save anything. The only thing I wish is that it was less easy to accidentally close all of your apps, because when that happens you can't reopen any of them ( which is obviously the point of the app), but it's just too easy to sometimes accidentally close all of them. Aside from that it's missing one or two features that if it had would give it five stars. But this is definitely the app to use for easy LOCAL anonymous browsing (eg doesn't use tor)
4 ★Good, simple, privacy-first browser. I've just tried it again after giving it up about two years ago. Unfortunately the missing feature that frustrated me then is still missing today. Please add a per site JavaScript toggle to override the global setting. I like to have JavaScript disabled with some exceptions, but Firefox Focus forced me to have it enabled everywhere or disabled everywhere. Neither option works for me. Am still a fan. Just can't be my main browser.
3 ★Having an interactive browser interface element always appear in the same spot over a web page means that anything rendered in that spot is impossible to see our interact with. And since there are a lot of pages with a button in the lower right, that makes this browser nearly unusable on a lot of pages. Just put it in the browser menu for heaven's sake
5 ★This app is amazingly simple, effective, quick, and smooth. I use the Samsung browser by default because I like it. When I want to search something explicit or, Google a weird question or, find a really messed up Gore video to send to my friends, I use this app. It's so easy to use. The only thing I want from this app that it doesn't have? Multiple tabs. You only have a singular tab which is unfortunate :/. I still definitely recommend though! Giant obvious clear search history button naturally floating around near the bottom right. Also the app does an amazing job of getting rid of pop up ads and keeping my location and other info secured. Outstanding!
2 ★When switching from landscape to portrait, or vise versa, it opens an old link. Unable to go back in unscrollable web page, onscreen buttons on samsungs hide bottom of page. Additionally, it is impossible to get to the address bar during a popup as screen becomes unscrollable. The pink gotta go, but other than that I really like the idea.
3 ★When the app works, it's great. But it is very hit-or-miss when loading web pages. More times than not, it won't load a web page or link. Instead it presents that URL as a blank page. Refreshing the page and killing/restarting the app doesn't solve the issue most times. Even the browser's "back" button will stop responding when this happens. Very frustrating.
5 ★I just installed it & everything seems perfect so far. I'll re-review in a few weeks if any issues arise, but I really dig that it automatically erases all the pages after I close my browser. Regular Firefox says it will do that, but it doesn't ever close them. I'll have 27 pages open by noon 🙄 Firefox needs to fix that on their original app. Maybe the new, separate browser is the fix 🤔
3 ★Capable app in most regards. You are not able to open a new tab unless you click a link (so no new tab to homepage). It is also somewhat frustrating if you need to use the back and forward buttons frequently, as the forward button is put away under settings. Adblocker is great, though. It allows pages to register clicks much quicker.
5 ★Edit: the update today fixed it, thank you. Original: As of this morning, won't open anything on my Samsung. Just a blank screen. I've rebooted, cleared cache, changed network settings, nothing. All other internet apps work fine and this app was working fine last night. I cannot figure out where to report a bug so I'm putting it here. Please help.
