Description

• There is a built in Editor for changing or creating new data Categories with custom icons.
• Search within fields.
• Contains no advertisements.
• Supports backup and restore of the encrypted data file to the Android USB device.
• Export of unencrypted data in CSV format to the USB device.
• There is an Auto lock feature that can be preconfigured for a specific period of time.

PRO FEATURES, available via single In-app billing payment:
• Unlock with fingerprint (on a compatible device with Android 6)
• Unlock with face (on a compatible device with Android 10 or later)
• Password Generator
• CSV Import

SECURITY FEATURES
• All data is encrypted, including Entry names, Category definitions and the data itself. Even the choice of Favorite Category is encrypted.
• Encrypts data using AES or Blowfish algorithms with key sizes of 256, 192 or 128 bits.
• When the data file is decrypted, up to all combinations of algorithm and key size are tried with the Master password to unlock the data file. The app itself does not store any hint to the actual cipher or key size.
• Uses a randomly generated 'salt' combined with the Master password. Salt helps to protect from off-line dictionary attacks.
• The key to open the data file is created by combining your master password with the 512-bit 'salt'. The result is hashed 1000 times by SHA-256. Repetitive hashing makes a brute force attack more difficult.
• Supports auto destruction of the data file after a predefined number of unsuccessful unlocks have been tried.
• Unlike other similar Android apps aWallet has no internet access permission (forever). The only permissions this app has is to access to the USB device to backup/restore the data file in case you lose your phone. USB device access is also needed to export to CSV file format. Permission is also granted to the Google Play billing service to allow for the optional purchase of the aWallet Pro features.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★I loved this app until I changed my master password. I changed it, so that I would remember it when I switched to fingerprint access. I wrote it down, so I wouldn't forget if the fingerprint should fail. When the app updated, the fingerprint access were not available and I came back to the play store to see if others had it happen, and what to do. The creators say, you forgot your master password, so that is your fault. Update: no, the master password did not work. Yes, I tried that. Deleting.
5 ★I have had this app on my phone since I first got my first Android years ago & I highly recommend this app to everyone & anyone who has a problem remembering their passwords. Create up to 50 folders & set up each folder with whatever info you want that folder to have & arrange the info in whatever order you want it to be in. Now all you have to do is remember (1) password to get into the actual app. You'd be crazy not to download this app, just ask my sister!!!
5 ★Worked well for years. After phone update, suddenly my fingerprints and master password don't work. Now I've completly lost access to hundreds of passwords I've stored over the past several years! Other recent reviews mention the same exact issue but replies from the developer seem to suggest they forgot their password... Well I'm 100% certain I didn't forget it! THE APP FAILED and until that is acknowledged and fixed this app cannot be relied upon!
1 ★!!! Cannot Backup My data !!! The backup data functionality will not work with Samsung devices (One UI3/Android 11 and above) because OneUI3+ doesn't provide access to Android/data directory and the backup is stored in that directory. Please fix this application, otherwise it is useless for Samsung users. There should be an option to send backup file via gmail etc. Edit: Not everyone has Computer to connect phone with PC and save the backup data.
5 ★I've been using this app more than 6 years. It is superb tool. Simple and secured tool. I loved it. In fact I recommend others to use as well.
5 ★Use aWallet Premium and its well worth the price. Keeping track of your important logins is essential in 2021. You're behind if you're not using a smart app like aWallet. Been using for 5 years or more. A UI update would be nice, but overall this app is fully functional, reliable, and clean.
5 ★Very nice app. It doesn't constantly nag you about upgrading. My only suggestion is add a line that says username, and then password, then its website. Another password app wouldn't even let you delete an entry without paying which made it very messy and disorganized.
4 ★The app is OK but when you add a new category, it won't export that skeleton of the category. I tried adding new categories from excel but was not able to import it. I am trying to migrate data from my old password App. It's been slow going because of this.
3 ★Same issue as Ryan Kelly. Loved the app & the update wiped out my ID'ing info. It was great for a long time. Now it's just a bummer. There should be some type recovery, then it could return to 5 star.
5 ★I have used this app for years. It's got enough features to do what I need, but not so many as to make unnecessarily complicated.
5 ★love, love love this app! I only need to remember ONE password and the wallet hold the rest. Thank you for this assurance!
5 ★A simple lightweight password manager with all the basic functionalities that you would expect with import/export and backup options!!
