La Fundación Radio María es una entidad establecida jurídicamente que fue aprobada mediante la Resolución 063 del 25 de marzo de 1997 la misma que fue dictada por el señor Subsecretario administrativo de Ministerio de Gobierno. Una vez conformada la Fundación, se solicita al CONARTEL la Concesión de Frecuencia en FM Para servir a la ciudad de Quito y sus alrededores mediante oficio s/n con trámite No. 948 del 08 de julio de 1997. La que fue concedida el 22 de Enero de 1998 otorgándonos la Frecuencia 100.1 MHZ. del grupo G1 de la Norma técnica vigente. El 5 de marzo de 1998 el Señor Gonzalo León entregó en Comodato por el tiempo que está subsista un lote de terreno cuyas dimensiones son de 10 x 5 m2 ubicados en La Hacienda ¨ Mi Cielito ¨, Cerro Pichincha donde La FUNDACIÓN RADIO MARIA construirá ahí las obras de infraestructura e instalaciones. El miércoles 07 de Octubre de 1998 a las 11h30 Radio María realizó la bendición e inauguración de los estudios, dicho acto se solemnizó con la presencia de: Autoridades Eclesiásticas: el Arzobispo Emérito de Guayaquil S. Em. Cardenal Bernardino Echeverría Ruiz, el Obispo Auxiliar de Quito Mons. Carlos Altamirano y el Padre Francisco José Palacios, primer director de la Radio.Latest updates
