1 ★This new app is so responsive and buggy. Half the time I reserve a car, something goes wrong before I can even start the trip. As I type this, I've had a car "in use" for nearly 3 hours while I wait for a ticket to go through to manually end the trip. I'm sure I will have to call billing separate in order to get my $100 back for a car I could never get unlocked to start. Not sure why this new app was launched when software issues are out of control.
1 ★Something has gone terribly wrong with this app and the service. I was without service for a month because that's how long it took to hear from customer service that my license info needed to be updated. Since then, I have experienced problems accessing the car because it doesn't show up in the app, leaving me unable to manage trips, including park and comeback, resume, and end. My weekend has been ruined because I can't rely on the car and fear I'll be stranded on a dark, cold night.
1 ★The service is great. The app is another story. On several occasions I've had difficulty ending the trip. The car will will lock, but the reservation will remain with no notification that it's still running. I've literally kept a car for multiple days without knowing costing hundreds of dollars. Shame there's no options around me.
1 ★Awful, buggy app experience! Almost every reservation ends with me needing to call customer service to end the trip for me. And before it's ended, it usually racks up another 10 minutes of reservation billing, which is almost never refunded. Fix the God damned app already, and hire a dev team that knows what the hell they're doing. This is all you do. Do it right! I only still use it because all the other car sharing apps have left DC. I'm about to solely use Zipcar again! They're great!
2 ★The old app was much better. The new one is ugly and clunkier to use. Then they changed from showing how much fuel is in the tank to estimated mileage, which is much less useful because it doesn't allow me to calculate how far I can drive under the conditions I am going to drive in. I do like the fact that this service has plenty of cars available in my neighborhood. The only problem is that some of these cars are low on fuel, and are usually full of dog hair.
1 ★DO NOT USE!!! Free2Move app is highly unstable. Couldn't end a 25 minute ride and Free2Movr billed for over 3 hours!! You cannot talk to anyone to resolve issues. No one responds to in app correspondence or email. Phone calls go to a voicemail that is clearly not monitored. My only option was to dispute charge w/ bank and account has been suspended since. Not the only problem either, just the worst one.
1 ★This app really deserves 0 stars. I used to love renting from Free2Move, but now can't even log in. Multiple efforts to reset my password have failed, multiple phone and email messages to Customer Service have resulted in silence. Good to know that no one would be available to help if I were to actually rent from them! Unfortunately, they are now the only point-to-point car rental service in D.C., so I'm forced to take a risk with Uber and Lyft. Great job screwing up a good thing, Free2Move!
4 ★Service is good, the app is terrible. With the new app if you don't have coverage you can't lock (or unlock!) the car. (With the previous one you could). It's also tedious and repetitive to do basic things such a reserving a car... Ok, I got it, you need to authorize my card, no need to tell me every single time.
1 ★This App always randomly stops working. I downloaded the new version. It will not allow me to end the trip through the app, but when I call support they just tell me to delete the app and try again. This approach rarely works. How many days will it take for me to access my account. When the app is working, its awesome.
3 ★I do not like the new app. 1. It takes too long to end the trip 2. It takes too long to unlock 3. I love the convenience 4. Never get a response back when there is an issue. 5. Cars are generally clean except the people who put their shedding dog in the back seat 6. People smoking weed in the cars
1 ★I updated to the new app a couple weeks ago and now states "documents under review" and I cannot reserve car but had no problem with the former app. Contacted support from the app and 5 days later they reply to call support. I call support but all I get is a voicemail. I guess I'm here complaining because the support here is really non-existing!
3 ★I have use the App since December and it had it's issue, the app will and has ended my trip when I am out somewhere, I tap on the resume and it goes to end trip and most recently August 16 it happen 3 times, and yhis morning my account is good but can't reserve it krpt buggering so I logged out a d now loghi g back in is a buggering problem. I also have a issue reaching customer care, it has taken dozens attemps a d many days to get customerr care to answer. Good service when it works.not now.
