How to install Olarm APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Olarm APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.olarm.olarm1-v1.6.6-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

2 ★In terms of function, the app works. In terms of look and feel, it is awful. The recent upgraded UI looks like it was designed and developed by a high school student. I much prefer the older version UI. Given that the user experience sits in the User interface, your team needs to improve the overall look and feel of the interface. Even a rollback to the previous UI should be considered. Strongly dislike the new look and feel.
5 ★At first the app would not send the SMS, but customer support resolved the problem. Very good interface
5 ★App works great, except when power goes out. When systen is armed and power goes off or on, no alert is triggered so if it is not loadshedding one wouldn't know as there is no notification going out from the Olarm unit. Might this be a bug? EDIT: Support contacted and issue was resolved quickly. Have updated from 3 to 5 star as all is working now!
3 ★Wonderful app I should say but I have been offline for couple of days now. Have uninstalled app thrice and nothing seems to have changed. My most worry - in case of emergency - the subscribed armed response will not be aware about the situation. I know have to activate alarm manually which is quite cumbersome. Please advise what I should do now. WORRIED

1 ★The app in its current form is completely useless! All the graphics (zone photos) are missing, there is no more active / inactive real time display and it actually just let me arm the alarm while doors and windows were open!!! ROLL BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION PLEASE! !!!
3 ★Better than what it was 4 months ago. Would like to see time related triggers and timers for PGMS. Activate and pulse buttons for pgms and utility keys should have visual indication when active. Adding a user via email address does not work. Great app thus far. Keep up the good work.

1 ★Review;13 Oct20 This new (July) look is awful. 1st: I'm in Mali and tried to update my phone number - Mali is NOT available. 2nd: now I can't see/filter when I had power outages. Good enough app but, would be good to provide means to bypass zones according to a schedule. Also to be able to communicate directly with the service providers' control room or quick action buttons to inform control room to stand down or proceed to react on an alarm.
4 ★Love the app! Just would have liked the app to be compatible with Google Home & Alexa. Since the new update I've been having issues with the app, I liked the previous user interface more than the new one.
4 ★The latest UI update yesterday is much better! I just find that on the app the zones I bypass (now in blue) doesn't reset upon deactivation of the alarm. I remains marked bypassed on the app, but on the psychical panel/keypad it is no longer bypassed.
