Die AWO-App ist das zentrale Kommunikationsmittel für unsere Mitarbeiter*innen. Sie bringt die relevanten Funktionen, Dokumente und Infos aus dem Unternehmensportal der AWO aufs Smartphone oder Tablet.Herzstück ist derzeit noch der WIR-Kanal – die digitale Mitarbeiterzeitschrift der AWO. Hier gibt es aktuelle Unternehmensnachrichten,die später auch geliket und kommentiert werden können. Denn Nutzer*innen der App können zukünftig auch individuelle Profile hinterlegen und Fotos einbinden, sich mit Hilfe einer Chat-Funktion austauschen und Dokumente einsehen. Weiter können komplexere Arbeitsprozesse aus der App heraus gestartet und bearbeitet werden: Anstelle umfangreicher Formulare bedarf es nur noch ein paar Fingerübungen, um Adresse, Ehestand oder Krankenkasse zu ändern. Die AWO-App ist damit ein Unternehmensportal für alle, die mobil sind.
Die Mitarbeiter*innen-App und deren Inhalte sind ausschließlich für den internen Gebrauch bestimmt. D.h. es gelten die üblichen arbeitsrechtlichen (Verschwiegenheits-)verpflichtungen.
