Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★I picked up this app after Inbox was axed. Its easy to set up and for the most part east to use. My real only gripe is that I wish I could bundle emails in a single folder in my inbox. This would save me a few clicks and make this app perfect. Suposidly bundled emails in your inbox is a feature on the iOS app but after several months since the Android Release (April?) it has still not been added to the Spark app on Android OS.
2 ★I love this app. I love its features, I love its look, I love how efficient it allows me to be on my phone. HOWEVER, I have one major issue with this app: The notification bug on my Google pixel watch. The notifications show up, but my watch doesn't buzz when a new email comes in. (It's the only app that doesn't) I submitted an email and a bug ticket several months ago, and nothing... Very disappointing...
2 ★App seems to get worse with every update by removing it changing features you're used to with no option to change back. Emails are shown in chronological order so you have to scroll down to see the newest email (can be long with large email threads). Quick action toolbar takes up too much space for how big the icons really are. Archive option was replaced with Done and no explanation to what that is. User feedback doesn't seem to be taken into consideration.
3 ★The interface and customization options are pretty slick. Unfortunately, it doesn't play as nicely with Gmail as I'd hope. As someone who moves between phone and desktop/laptop often, transitions between platforms is awkward, especially with whatever mechanism Spark uses to snooze messages and move them back to the inbox. Accepting calendar invitations also doesn't seem to propagate.
2 ★So far, I like using Spark as a replacement for Inbox. It does a good job of detecting newsletters and i think the pinned emails are much more accessible. Two requests: custom inbox folders and the ability to zoom. I got an email receipt for an internet order and i had to show the receipt for pickup. It was so tiny we couldn't read the print. edit: Since installing Spark, i have found that my email address has been subscribed to multiple porn spam sources. Timing is fishy (a week after install)
3 ★It's an alright app, but at some point they added some sorting/blocking feature called gatekeeper. The feature seems fine but when I clicked the block button it asked me to pay. So I turned it he feature off, but now some of my emails seem to be missing? This client is trying to be too smart for me and it's ruined the basic experience, not interested in paying for it or using it anymore. But I could see it being useful for someone who's more of a power user and is willing to pay for features.
4 ★Allows you to mark as read and delete from notifications, batch mark read as well! Greatly simplifies things for me! Also imports all email accounts with one login which is super handy! Would be cool to see some themes though! Edit: Hasn't been notifying for Hotmail account for months, talked to support and still no fix. Have notifications turned on and have tried disabling battery saver mode, still nothing. Edit 2: Removed all data from my spark account, readded accounts and now works!
2 ★Spark is a great organizational tool for emails, and is probably the closest to Google Inbox expats. Unfortunately, it's woefully unoptimized, and seems to freeze up constantly on phone. Takes a while to sync with Gmail as well via the Android app. The constant slowness and crashes has made me switch back to Gmail for the time being, as much as I like the app. It also does not support certain mail addresses and systems, which means my business account cannot sync with the service.
4 ★I really love this email app. There are only 2 things it's missing in my opinion. First, there's no notification for emails that come straight to subfolders, only the inbox emails trigger a push notification. Second, when a push notification comes up and you open the email, if you delete it, instead of taking you to the inbox the whole app closes. If not for those 2 things, this app would definitely get 5 stars in my book.
2 ★well, the app is nice, but it would be great if under the smart inbox, whatever category you tapped on for example notifications, if it actually read out the emails there, but on Android, using the Google TalkBack screen reader, or any of the screen reader, it just vibrates! There's no description, nothing speaks whatsoever! You're so presented with well basically inaccessible, vibrating list of items! The only way to find out what an email is is to click on it, and then go from there. This is
4 ★I used to use Mailbox back when I had an iPhone. It had a slick, elegant interface that used swipes to manage emails and snooze them for later. It had everything I was looking for in an email app. Sadly, Dropbox bought them and promptly shut the app down. Spark is the closest thing I have found to that app, and it makes many excellent improvements along the way. Fully customizable swipes, snoozing emails, even pinning them. The only downside is it doesn't support modern 2-fac authentication.
3 ★Update: I am having issues with emails when I open from push notifications. App opens the app and then shows a pop-up saying I deleted or removed the email from another account/device which is not true. It is kinda annoying. Long time user. This app is just so good. Android version is a bit buggier than iOS version but no major issues at all and fixed happen quick. Smart inbox feature is brilliant.
