Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★SO frustrating. Did all troubleshooting multiple times & app refuses to work. All I want to do is turn down the volume of the power up/power down sounds on my flip 4 speaker (which I love, except those sounds being so loud). I can eventually get to the "enter dashboard" screen, but nothing happens when I tap that button. Incredibly infuriating!!🤬
2 ★Charge 4 is okay. The app is trash. It looks nice, but rarely recognizes my speaker EVEN WHEN IT'S CONNECTED AND PLAYING. When it does work, there's basically no worthwhile function. You can set up stereo or party mode if you have multiple JBL BL 4/LE devices, and you can theoretically update firmware. The 3.0 firmware upgrade doesn't always show as an option, and has never completed. There is no equalization in the app to deal with the over amped bass and poor mids. Feel like I wasted my money.
2 ★It sorta works. Not well. I used it to upgrade firmware on 2 Flip 3s, up to 7.9. It was fast. I was hoping for connect+, but no. Aside from that, the connect buttons on the speakers work fine, but this app fails to see the speakers much of the time, even when they are both already playing. Mine sync and play in STEREO perfectly and maintain stereo even after restarts, so Im not having a problem that many are. Happy with that but idk why I would ever use this app now. You can switch L+R channels.
1 ★Mono Only (Stereo mode broken) As other users have stated, the stereo mode is nonfunctional. Pairing of speakers only streams in "party" mode (that's mono for everyone else). The app is totally incapable of connecting two speakers reliably and when it manages to find the one thats connected via bluetooth to my phone, it refuses to stream in stereo. Pretty bad considering my Charge 4 only has one speaker :( yikes
3 ★I have a Pixel, the purest of Android OS, and this app crashes too often. I can usually never stay in it for more than 5 minutes without it bugging out. When it does work, it is very useful. But it does not provide enough additional features that the device can't already do. Only brightness and a custom lightshow setting. Not worth dealing with the app for those two things.
1 ★Stereo mode is extremely buggy. Despite saying that it saves your configuration, it never does, always leaving me to reconfigure my speakers every time I turn them on. It wouldn't be as big a deal if they weren't misleading with their information on the app. A shame, because their speakers are really quality. I wish more companies could match their good hardware with equally as good software.
1 ★Stereo mode has only worked once. One time only. Party mode (mono) works ok. The app, as it is right now, really doesn't provide any usefulness. It can show firmware version and the battery level. However, the battery level is already displayed on the speaker. The option to play party mode or stereo mode doesn't always even display. The speakers themselves have good sound. App is 99% useless.
1 ★This is one of the worst apps I have ever interfaced with. Even when my phone says connected to both devices, the app will often say one is connected. When I go into partyboost mode, it will say I'm in the mode on each separate speaker, but won't link them. This means I can't go into Stereo mode or have trust in the app. Awful user experience. Update. Both speakers literally say "you are in partyboost mode, pair more speakers to pump up the party," while both are connected. Just awful.
1 ★I would give this zero stars if I could. I got two Pulse 3's as a gift and they sound amazing but what is the point of having two if I cant even get them to connect in stereo? Even when I've already connected them to the app the app tries to "discover them" this app is broken beyond belief. Party mood doesn't work and stereo never works. It will say it entered "stereo" but it never gives me an option to switch L/R. I also can no longer get my Flip3 to connect to my phone at all. This app sucks.
3 ★Works ok, mostly. Can't find any instructions so have to figure things out. I wanted to use my try new Xtreme 2's for L/R stereo and it took a minute to figure it out. Should be straight forward. Works most of the time but lots of interference and the right channel is constantly cutting in and out. Seems like it needs some work to be good. I'll probably return one of the speakers because of this. No point having both speakers if stereo is spotty half the time. The speaker themselves sound good.
1 ★This app is useless! It never was great, but it worked better before this latest update. Before the update I could pair my Flip 5's in stereo mode and they would stay that way, now it constantly loses its connection with the speakers and they drop back to party mode (mono) and often it just closes on its own. When trying to reconnect the app to enable stereo mode again it doesn't recognize the speakers are already paired and wants me to go thru the process all over again! Please fix ASAP!!!
3 ★What confused me for some time was the fact that clicking the speaker image did not bring up the settings but that you had to click the settings icon at the bottom. That didn't seem intuitive as I associated that more with app settings -- just doesn't make sense this way. It's also not clear to me how to verify or update the firmware. That screen is easy to find, yes. Other than that looks clean and works... Don't know if you really have to install it unless you have more than one speaker...
