1 ★Pairing sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. I bought 2 additional boom3's for the party up experience. What a waste of money! I should have invested in a better system because this app is an embarrassment. I can't believe it still works so badly shame on you Logitech for providing such a terrible user experience. The speakers are good, they sound nice especially when they do connect. But what a way to kill the party when the app does not work. DON'T BUY ADDITIONAL SPEAKERS, STICK WITH 1!
1 ★Works well when it does but has a hard time connecting the two hyperboom I have and crashes a lot. Wish it worked well because there's actually a lot of good features. Update: the app is complete trash as it doesn't work. The speakers sound good but not good enough to make up for the cutting in and out constantly. I'll keep one of the hyperbooms because as I've found out if the app is deleted 1 speaker works great. 7/9/20 returning both hyperbooms since they have so many connectivity issues.
4 ★I really like this app. I've only ever had one speaker at a time and the app works great for that. I'm really only writing this to the devs as I recently discovered a bug where I couldn't set or turn off my alarm. A factory reset on the speaker didn't work. It was fixed when I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I really like the work you've put into the app and would hate for someone to leave a bad review based on this alone. Especially when it was fixed on my end so easily. Keep up it! :)
1 ★It seems that the developers don't care about the Android app. I had no problems getting multiple speakers to party up in the iOS app. When I try to drag a second speaker in to party up in the Android app the speaker icon just spins and then fails to connect. I have the latest version of the Android app, and both my megaboom 3 and boom have the most recent firmware.
1 ★Update: Uninstalling due to poor functionality. May reinstall if the developer gets the issue fixed. MEGA BOO! Almost functionless. Not sure how this made it to release. The only thing functional is the battery level and maybe that doesn't work either? None of the button functions work other than on, off, and pause. And, super unclear why it needs to know my location.
1 ★Buggy ! Works occasionally. Stops working unexpectedly. Very annoying. I have been using these for a couple of weeks now. I find they are stable if 1. Wifi is turned off. Period. Connection is lost everytime it gets turned on. 2. It has a good, strong feed from your cell provider. A weak feed also tends to destabilize the bluetooth system. Seems UltimateEars has abandoned this app and anyone using it.
2 ★This app was great until I bought a second Megaboom speaker to pair with the one I already have. Now, I have lots of problems connecting to my phone and powering on the other speaker to PARTY UP. I always seem to be going into my phone settings and re-pairing the speaker to my phone's Bluetooth, which means I have retrieve the speaker and hit the BT button. The app is not available on all my other devices. They are a couple years old. But it's frustrating because they're all Android devices.
1 ★UE has sold great speakers with a rotten app that rarely manages to create a stereo connection. The last app worked for almost two years and stopped working. Having a "hold on, we're working on it" pop up for years with sub-par software is in acceptable. I sang your praises for years, but I'm done. For $400 I expect working product - especially after 3 years! Yes, I downloaded the firmware. Yes, I updated the app. Your product doesn't function in stereo. Please stop advertising that it does!
1 ★I used to love the app. Now app claims better volume control when its actually worse. Also the equalizer will not stay how I put it for the "custom" setting. Oh and the speaker never works correctly with the tap function. Overall very dissatisfied. Oh it seems all these updates improved the boom 3. Why cant you make another app for the latest speaker and let those of us with previous speakers keep an app that works? Please fix functionality for the boom 2. Thanks!?
2 ★The Block Party feature is missing from the app, which supposedly allows up to 3 devices to connect to one megaboom 3 speaker to allow somewhat of a shared dj experience. This was the primary reason why I bought the speaker, and now the feature is no longer available. I like the sound coming from the speaker, the app looks and works well for what is available, but I'm very disappointed that there is no block party feature.
4 ★I have no idea what these last few negative reviews are referring to you. (I've never come across the issues they have). I have had the UE Boom Speakers and app since 2017. Works perfectly for me. Some tips in case anyone needs them if your speaker is below 30% battery. It will continue to disconnect your Bluetooth. It needs to be hooked up to your charger or charged over 30%. Also, I've found success in keeping the speaker sounds off. I never get delays.
1 ★The UE Boom/Boom2 speakers do not require this app, and they work very well without it. The app integrates equalizer and power cycling functions, but so do other more useful apps so these aren't really needed. The app allows multiple devices to play audio on the speaker which could be useful I suppose, but I've never used that feature. The app gets a one star rating because it runs a lot of trackers in the background communicating with Microsoft even when not running. Nope, not for me thanks.
