Simple and small app to boost your speaker or headphone sound volume. Useful for movies, audio books and music.Use at your own risk. Playing audio at high volumes, especially for a prolonged amount of time, can destroy speakers and/or damage hearing. Some users HAVE reported destroyed speakers and earphones. If you hear distorted audio, lower the volume (but it may be too late).
By installing this application you agree that you will not hold its developer responsible for any damage to hardware or hearing, and you are using it at your own risk. Consider this to be experimental software.
Not all devices support this software. Try it at your own risk and see if yours works.
This app does not work on most 4.2.1-4.3 devices. It should work on 4.4 and higher, as well as on devices below 4.2.1.
This is not for adjusting the speakerphone volume in phone calls (that has its own boost, I think), but for adjusting the volume of music, movies and apps.
When you set the boost to zero, Volume Booster will be off. The notification icon is just for ease of launching. If you don't like seeing the notification icon when Volume Booster is off, just go to Volume Booster's Settings and set it to appear only when Volume Booster is running.

4 ★I have it set to 25% and it helps a lot for calls when I'm in a noisy environment. It makes the text notification so loud I nearly jump out of my chair. For improvements, I would appreciate: *A widget that allows for easier toggle on and off since I don't need it on constantly and turning it off requires a few steps. *Functionality that allows me to boost calls but not text notifications (for example) vs. an overall booster of everything.
4 ★Wow, it works! It probably works too well. I put a 5% boost on at the gym and it made a very noticeable difference with my Galaxy buds. Just the right amount! At about 7%, distortion is noticable and unlistenable at 10%, so boosting past that would probably fry them. I'd feel a little better if I could set a lock on that to prevent accidental damage, because this app is no joke and can really boost!
5 ★One of the first apps that does what it says it does. Do watch the levels though. If you get them too high you really could damage your eardrums. Properly used, It's amazing. Kudos. BTW I have a Galaxy 8+. Update 8/1/2020 This really is an amazing app. Great with external speakers, headphones, and phone speakers. Used properly, you get substantially better sound. Its stll the only app I've found that works as advertised! Still have S8+ btw!
4 ★It is an excellent app but if you want to save your mobile do not extend the volume boost more than 15% but 10% is sufficient for you to hear properly and it is for free it requires no money after installation of the app like other apps .so if you have any problem with your ear this app is more useful to you .That's it , now enjoy the app friends
5 ★I love you !!!! The O N L Y app that works right and does exactly what I want it to do !!!! Nothing else! Just makes the volume louder! Just like it should! It doesn't cook you a meal, or give you a massage or washes your laundry and calls your mother-in-law... NO: It does exactly what it should do and what it promises! No more no less !!! 2 ★Unfortunately, this app has a notification that pops up on the screensaver notifications screen that is not dismissable (blocking me from seeing other notifications like texts and emails, because it always stays at the top of the list). I personally like to keep my notifications to a minimum, so that I can see if I'm missing important correspondence. I don't see why I even need a notification that says the sound booster is turned on or off on the notification screen. So I'm uninstalling the app.
5 ★I have hearing loss and my phone's volume is constantly maxed, have had issues in hearing calls etc. This app made things so much easier. I didn't know how much I needed it until I got it. Very simplistic interface and easy to use.
4 ★It is very, very loud. & it skips in & out. Goes from soft/low to very LOUD. all of a sudden. It can be very disruptive. I h a d earphones on it felt like it blew out my ear drums... really painful. So be careful with using this app
5 ★This is the best volume boosting app out there, believe me i have tried them all. I have it on 2 different Samsung tablets and the difference it makes is amazing. Im hard of hearing and on 1 of my tablets the volume is very poor but by using this app it makes the tablet sound so much louder and clearer its amazing. It would be nice if it were totally ad free but for the service you get this is in my opinion a small price to pay. 🙂
5 ★So far...... This is very easy to use. Doesn't seem to drain my battery even leaving it on all the time. Adds scroll at the bottom of the screen only when you have the app "open" while adjusting something.... Adds are virtually unnoticeable. Good work......
5 ★I've had malware and adware on most of the stupidest and inane Volume Boosting apps I've downloaded since I bought my first Android device in 2012, and often they really barely or refuse to work at all. But, developers - THIS APP IS AWESOME AND REALLY WORKS!!! For the very first time in my history of trial downloads to assess whether I even want louder device sound, I've now found this app and not does it really work, it's really in-depth and easy to use! UI ain't great, but who cares, it works
1 ★WAITING FOR UPDATE. Mr developer or team if you are reading this review then please improve your app as your only works one time during multiple restarts in my MI device. The app didn't worked later. I would love to try your app once again and purchase if you are willing to improve and make it working for MI devices. And I'm seeing this February this app hasn't been updated. Since app didn't worked properly, I'll be rating it 1 star for now. Please use full screen instead of half screen.
