Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Put bananas in as salt for $5. Even though I logged in to account at beginning, added several items to cart, went to check out and it asked me to log in again. Lost it all and had to ring up at register. Total waste of time.
5 ★Been waiting YEARS for this!! I Love it! I never did my free $15 for the first three shops but I am not even concerned. I just love not having to lift the grocery in and out of the cart x10!!!!
1 ★This app is clunky and a real pain. I use at Kroger now the store has got rid of hand scanners. It now takes twice as long or more to scan the items.
3 ★My overall experience was pretty good. Everything worked as expected. There were two concerns I had. First, it took a while to process the barcode. With multiple items in the same area, this got annoying. The second problem was that I received no receipt once I paid for the merchandise on my phone. Maybe the clerk who handled the verification should have given me one. Or, I could have gotten one via email. Also, the first clerk had no clue that the Scan, Bag, Go app was available.
3 ★I like the concept of what this app provides, but I have two concerns: 1. There is no "Remember Me" feature, which forces users to enter their username and password each time they shop. Some shoppers may have trouble remembering their info. Fingerprint sign-in would be a plus. 2. Unsuccessful scans (which happen often) aren't "tossed out" and must be cleared at self-checkout. There must be a way to distinguish between these "ghost items" and prohibited items, like alcohol.
2 ★I use the app in store. I have no problems scanning, the app works very well. Even adding 2 of an item or removing an item is very easy. My problem comes at the check out. I am done shopping and then it gives me an error. I end up having to wait in line anyway so I can scan the order. Then I have to pay thru the register. I hate that because I like the app to save my past orders.
3 ★When the app works, it makes shopping more convenient. It's nice to scan cases of water without lifting or waiting for an attendant. It is also helpful to scan once and increase the quantity when buying multiples. Unfortunately, the app still has some bugs. Often, when I try to log in, it says "cannot authenticate credentials," and I have to restart the app repeatedly. Other times, it says, " We are experiencing technical difficulties, " and I cannot use the app at all, even after restarting.
1 ★Use this only if you like spending more time in the store. First, you have to manually connect to the store's wifi and then login to the store's wifi to use the app. The first item I scanned worked ok, but took several long seconds to confirm the scan. Then, the second Item I tried to scan (hand cut chicken breasts) I got the message that an employee would have to help me at checkout. Well, if that's the case, what's the point? I scan these at the checkout all the time without employee intervention. Plus, everything scanned at the self-checkout does so immediately, with no delay. So, again, what's the point of all this? So after the second item wouldn't add to the cart, I gave up on the whole thing. So I have no comment about what the final checkout process might be like, nor what would happen it I were purchasing alcohol. But based on this experience I can't see any advantages to this.
1 ★This app gets worse and worse with every update. The scan function often has a hard time focusing. Errors in scanning happen requiring employees to clear out the errors at checkout. Despite the description, they seem to have removed the pay function. There is no reason to use this app without the pay function. You might as well use the hand scanners if you cannot pay from your phone.
3 ★Used this app for the first time today. Scans wonderfully, much better than store scanners. But when I completed my shopping and tried to checkout it had an error then my entire cart was lost and i had to take everything out of the bags and rescan. Clerk said they'd had a lot of issues with the app. I hope they fix it because it seemed like it would have been very convenient.
1 ★I used to use this app every two weeks or more, just to do all my shopping. It was better than the handheld devices in stores as you had better control over your cart. The last few updates have been making it worse and worse, and now I can't even use it! It just says to connect to the stores, despite me being logged into the stores wifi! Please fix this!
1 ★Horrible!!! It would be great if the scanning wasn't completely dependent on their wifi. The wifi constantly bumps you off, so you end up spending half your time reconnecting. If you miss a single scan (i.e. it misreads the barcode, then you have to go through self-check, and a clerk look through everything and play 50 questions about why you have an item not found error. WAY more trouble than it's worth. Get it together, Kroger. Sam's has an app that's flawless. Maybe look at theirs.
