1 ★My experience is terrible. Just had to verify my membership & now unable to log in. Codes are not accepted due to network error. Since update the app is not user friendly at all. All my history has vanished, searching for venues etc is extremely poor. The app is extremely limiting very much reducing my ability to productively use this experience which I've spent money on. No value for money. Perhaps you will consider extending the expiry date to the end of 2021 due to very poor app performance.
1 ★Can't I rate less than one whole star. Nce you have selected one suburb, can't then select all areas without having to log out first then re-open. Then there is about 50 of each item listed. Not user friendly at all. Oops, just counted, make that 70 of each item. This is still one of the the most user unfriendly apps I have used. Your last upgrade was the reason for so many negative reviews and you just blindly say that all is good.
1 ★Updated the app to get the latest version with all the updates and enhancements. The use current location does not work and I still get Australian products for a NZ based user. Very unimpressed. I hope you have not paid anyone for the original development and this upgrade. You still don't achieve the functionality of the old app. I feel sorry for the charities that use you as a fund raising mechanism - your actions will cost them much needed funds from people stopping buying the 'book'.
1 ★Used to be able to filter by the type of offer, now the only filter is the category, it's harder to navigate through the settings and features and there appears to be a lot less of them. Major step backwards from the existing app which performed fine. Taking a leaf from Microsoft's playbook it seems, update for the sake of updating without putting any thought into it and inevitably making things worse.
4 ★Purchased a membership 2 months ago and have yet to purchase anything since. Restricted by location search, there appears to be nothing interesting around me. When I choose the map option, I am required to click on one icon at a time which takes forever and eventually get fed up. Reminds me of an easter egg hunt. Why can't you just give me a big list and allow me to filter by suburbs instead of making me guess which places I should be searching? Don't think a renewal is an option next year. 😠
4 ★Edit- new update slightly better. Can see list of offers by category within selected location now. However biggest flaw is not being able to filter out redeemed offers. The only way to check offer availability is to open an offer and see if the "Redeem now" button is available. ----- Loved the old app but the new version isn't great - hard to navigate, no colour coding for offer types on map, and can't do list view anymore.
2 ★Annoying to use. On map view it automatically zooms in for no reason when you click on an icon to see what it is, constantly have to zoom back out to see what else is around. Also impossible to search by areas such as bay of plenty or by city Auckland city, its honing right in on suburbs (who needs search by suburb? I just want to see everything in my area or whatever area I'm in) Annoyed with the app change and disappointed in the value this year. Sorry. Why ANZ in title?? Confusing. Gah!
1 ★Isn't this what they got rid of about 18mths ago after every complained? How do you even find what you are looking for? I want it broken down in the traditional Ent book categories, not cheesecake factory and logan brown next to each other just because theyre on the same street. Why have you gone back to this horrible layout?
1 ★I have to complain again about this new app. I purchased an upgrade membership for next year today. Problem now is that all the offers I had on my current membership are now gone. The old app. allowed a choice as to which years membership was being used. This has now gone from the app. Also, the contact form in the app. is impossible to use as fields are covered by a "JOIN NOW" black strip. In summary, this app. is appalling.
1 ★Asked for a refund as soon as I tried to use the app and realised it was God-awful. Not sure what happened to it but it's really really slow, and also clunky and unhelpful with regards to user experience (it didn't used to be like that). I would give it a zero if I could. I don't need discounts this badly. Thank God my refund came through!
1 ★Claims no network, but every other app has network. May it doesn't play well with a VPN, which is not acceptable these days. I note many ratings of 1. Why not do something to fix the app. It's damaging your brand. I want to see what's available before buying membership.
1 ★What happened to the old app? So much easier to use and navigate your way around. Where's the links to the websites? Trying to plan ahead for a trip away and it's pretty much impossible. Have resorted to bringing the area up on the map and looking that way but in no way is that ideal.
