Welcome to The Grove! The Grove is the Children’s Ministry of Liberty Baptist Church. One of the things that Liberty has always been, is a place to belong and I especially want that for the children of our ministry.Our app is designed to keep help parents share in their child's spiritual growth. Each week our app will automatically update with what your child has been learning in Sunday School. We include questions and topics for you to discuss with your child.
The Grove is a place where our children learn to be rooted in God’s word, to grow up strong in their relationship with God and to show fruit from that relationship. The two verses that inspired this theme/ vision for our ministry are Psalm 1:3 which says, “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.” And Colossians 2:6-7, “So then just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your life in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” This is my hope and prayer for each of the children within our ministry.
Within The Grove, there are different groups:
The Little Seeds Nursery- Newborns - 1 year olds
The Sprout Garden- 2-4 year olds
The Orchard- Kindergarten -2nd Grade
The Forest- 3rd and 4th Grade
Camp 56- 5th and 6th Grade
It is my hope and prayer that The Grove will provide a place of belonging for your children and be a place where growth and change occurs. We believe that the spiritual formation of children must be done by parents, not for parents. We desire to empower and equip parents in the high calling of raising children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
