Description
L’Associació Cultural Heliogàbal es va fundar l’any 1995 amb l’objectiu de servir de plataforma per al desenvolupament i la promoció d'activitats artístiques i culturals al barri de Gràcia de Barcelona.Des de l’any 2001, amb un renovat equip de direcció, l’associació centra les seves activitats en l’exhibició i la promoció de projectes musicals i poètics, així com d’altres formes d’expressió artística: exposicions de pintura i de fotografia, presentacions de llibres, revistes i fanzines, projeccions d’audiovisuals, etc.
Com a espai de difusió, l’Heliogàbal propicia l’encontre entre públic, veïns, artistes, col·lectius i associacions i col·labora amb altres plataformes
del teixit cultural i artístic de Barcelona, com discogràfiques i editorials independents.
En els ja gairebé quinze anys d’activitat, la seu de l’Associació Cultural Heliogàbal ha esdevingut un lloc de referència per a la dinamització de la vida artística de Gràcia, tant per als veïns com per als artistes que prenen part en les activitats que s’hi desenvolupen.
