Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

5 ★Used to be the indispensable, the best. But it's become unusable due to sessions being killed whenever the app is backgrounded on my Honor 9. Hasn't seen an update for 18 months so I worry it's been abandoned :(
4 ★Pretty good. Only problem is the terminal colours in dark mode make terminal unreadable. I don't use it a lot so can switch to light mode, but would be a pain if you use the app a lot.
4 ★Must have for remote administration, also allows local command shell. Recent google keyboard clipboard popup button (Pie) started conflicting with soft keyboard function keys, overlapping them though.
5 ★Is it possible to change "Frequently Used" into "favorited/Pinned" so that users can mark manually. As some servers frequently used previously are no longer often accessed, and currently no way to adjust the list(frequently used)
5 ★100% perfect. Look no further for reliable ssh connection to your Linux machines. I've used this to access machines locally and remotely. Spot on 👍🏻
5 ★Works extremely well, bearing in mind the limitations of sharing screen and keyboard. The shortcut key panel really helps with efficient command line entry.
4 ★Great app. Use it if I need to jump onto our ISP network while I'm out and about. Only downside, I wish the quick connect function didn't add the device to my managed devices. Sometimes I have to log onto CPE routers and I really dont want 100s of them filling up my list, they're not easy to delete either, seems you cant bulk select and remove.
4 ★The new copy/paste is harder to use--I cannot sucessfully copy something from left edge of screen. Also, I miss clickable links. This is THE best SSH client for Android. Mosh is awesome--your open connection is maintained across network changes, roaming seemlessly between Wi-Fi and mobile data without breaking. Use together with Hacker's Keyboard and you can program on your phone.
4 ★IMHO new terminal font is ugly - I had to downgrade to the previous version. Please consider making the font configurable.
5 ★Perfect for server administration on the go. I've tried several ssh clients from the android store and nothing has come this close to ease of use and features. Simple to setup and works exactly as you'd expect, chuck on the server monitor plugin and you've easily got an app worthy of 5 stars. My thanks and compliments to the developers.
5 ★First class app. Highly recommended. I use it access a computer connected to my TV that is running Linux.
2 ★Cannot use the up and down arrow keys to scroll through history, like in a normal terminal. Also cannot use tab to auto-complete. This pertains to a "local device" connection. If I ssh into another computer, up and down, tab, etc work as advertised.
