Download FltPlan Go APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
- Check the Unknown Sources box
- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
- Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.fltplan.go-v5.0.19-ApkClean.apk)

Q: What is an APK File?
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

5 ★I used this app for several years and liked it. However, it's become increasingly unstable on my older Samsung Tab S2 and now no longer works at all. I suspect the app has been updated and is no longer compatible with the older tablet. Since posting this with one star, FltPln has been helpful in getting me up and running again. Thank you, FltPln.
1 ★DOESN'T WORK. Even on a brand-new Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. When you try to log in it just hangs at "Logging in" and never finishes logging in. I deleted all cache & data, uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Same result. I've waited 30 minutes and still the screen is stuck at "Logging in". Also, even though I spent hours loading my checklists for my aircraft into FltPlan Go, they were all randomly deleted for no reason. They're just gone. It's really hard to enter checklists using their website because you can't easily insert new steps into the middle. It literally took me hours to create them, and now they're all gone.
3 ★App seems to have been abandoned. They used to release regular updates. As of now, they haven't in over 6 months. Does not work with GDL 50 series ADS-B despite being owned by Garmin and using their "Connext" software. Errors displaying downloaded maps on some of my devices. Shame that they've just abandoned the app. I switched to a different app now and use this only as a backup now.
2 ★Last update broke drag and drop map waypoint creation. When you tap the map to create a waypoint you can no longer make precise alterations by dragging your finger around with the circle cursor, or spit a track and create a new checkpoint...pretty much breaks the whole point of the map screen. This problem has always existed with my Andriod phone, but now its happening to my iPad that I actually use in the plane.
5 ★had some problems of actually not knowing how to download airport diagram and some other stuff.. after emailing the tech it turned out to be an easy fix.. love the way the app is organized, the graphics and layout design could be bit more beautiful..but thats now what i am after.. very easy to use everything is well layed out for easy access.. must have for every pilot. small request.. can we add a scratch pad with ATIS form? and clearance form scratch pad.. maybe? .. overall love the app

1 ★Doesn't work. Stuck at please wait. Creating account. These days, to limit account name to 8 characters, and then the password CANNOT contain special characters? When the absolute standard these days is the opposite - require them. Better yet, don't handle auth yourself (I fear for how and where you're storing passwords). I question their dev team for those choices. Anyway, can't get past please wait splash screen... Really want to see and use those charts. (Android, Pixel 3)
5 ★I've been using it for years as my go to aviation app. I tried Foreflight originally, but soon found FltPlan and have remained. It has every possible function necessary for the modern pilot and it's free to boot. IFR PDX to PAJN in high performance turbine: flown as planned with FltPlan in hard IMC...perfectly- I have to give it five stars.
5 ★Amazing app with a huge amount of utility to pull up charts, file flightplans, etc. A pilot's must have
5 ★Probably the best app for plates, checklists, weather, etc. One thing I'm noticing though is that the connection to the servers is starting to slow down over the last little while. Not sure if this is because of user load or less bandwidth available on the servers end.
2 ★Too buggy to be used reliably. I downloaded all the current charts for my area on my new Samsung S10 5G and when I have the maps set to downloaded only they will not display. plates still work but the IFR charts do not. This is unacceptable especially since I use the phone as a backup to paper charts and I need everything to load if I am already in airplane mode. Until I figure it out I'm sticking with Avare.
5 ★A very good, full-featured EFB that works well for both VFR and IFR operations. Interfaces well with Stratux ADS-B receivers. I haven't used ForeFlight or other paid EFBs, so can't compare, but it's good enough that I don't feel the need to try anything else.
