Download FltPlan Go APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
- Go to your phone Settings page
- Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)

- Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
- Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

1 ★Fails in flight far too often. App will either crash or fail to display the map in flight, this distraction could easily cause an accident. Offline mode used. The only way to fix it is to completely reset the app on the ground by deleting all app data and redownloading all the need maps. Seems like Garmin is purposefully ruining this app to force users onto their paid app. Garmin is going to cause or has already caused deaths with their greed.
1 ★UNSAFE for in flight use. Extremely unstable. Garmin has shamefully run this once great software into the ground. See other reviewsers who, like myself, have tried this sorry excuse for software on flagship devices, both Apple and Android. I suspect Garmin did so intentionally, to make their more branded but equally bad Pilot software more competitive. I personally will never trust Garmin products to help safely carry my family safely to any destination.

2 ★Unusable on pixel 9 pro running android 15. It's bad. Liked this app on iOS but the Android version is really awful and buggy. Map doesn't load often, even when downloaded, weather radar has only worked once, and the map usually displays a topo instead of a sectional.

5 ★I've been really happy with FltPlanGo for VFR flying. Garmin had responded to my questions in minutes!! I bought a GDL52 because some of my club planes don't have ADS-B In. SiriusXM won't display weather onFltPlanGo so I'm upgrading to Garmin Pilot. For a free app this is amazing and I've used Foreflight and Garmin Pilot in the past. This will display free ADS-B In traffic and weather. I was flying with CFI's using Forrglight and Garmin Pilot and this worked better and more reliably!!
3 ★It's good but I'm not able to navigate large documents by searching for keywords or jumping to a page.. I need to scroll hundreds of pages.
