1 ★Everything was working great until today. I lost my purchased chart and when I went into "Restore Purchases" and pressed the button nothing happened. When I go to "Charts&Upgrades" and then click on "Subscribe Now" it tells me that "no region is available for my area". I know it is Maine but I am pretty certain that there are charts for even our bit of the ocean.
1 ★Since update it doesn't recognize my subscription or even acknowledge ithad charts for my region. Was 5 stars when it works. Clearing data and fullreinstall didn't help.
1 ★Every time I open the app it wants me to accept the free trial, I don'twant to do it now, so I press back and it closes...so effectively I can'tuse this app? Just let me open it.
3 ★Very sad that the app will not show traces of where you have been. On my Humminbird, you can see the tracing line and route of all the area that you have been to with the boat, wich is very good since you know those place are safe. There are no such option on the Android app thus why only a 3 stars.
2 ★Disappointed in the bait and switch. App ran pretty well with good detail,but didn't realize it was just during the free trial of the plus features.A free blank blue colored map is worthless to me, and I'm not interested inpaying subscription fees. Really thought this was a good app until...
1 ★CANNOT DELETE DOWNLOADED MAPS!!!. CANNOT MOVE DOWNLOADED MAPS TO SD CARD!!!The maps take up huge amounts of memory, and once that's used up you can nolonger download any new maps. THIS CRAZY!! This is: "The World's No. 1Boating App."? Why would anyone who needs more than a few maps ever buythis? Why would anyone who needs the ability to free up their preciousmemory space ever buy this app.?
3 ★Lots of eye candy, but difficult to program. I still can't figure out theETA function, if there is one. They forgot K.I.S.S. Also, why do needaccess to my phone? I hate that!
5 ★I am a relatively new boater--much less experienced than many of the people writing reviews. It is clear that if you have an expensive chartplotter that you are going to compare the app to you are going to be disappointed. Also, if you are skeptical of the app permissions then stay away. For me, however, this app is perfect. I have a small boat (19') docked in Narragansett Bay, RI and I love this app. It allows me to feel comfortable going anywhere in the bay. I have found it to be relatively accurate. For me it is perfect. I haven't used the chartplotter feature much. I tried it out and it worked fine. I usually use that tracking feature and the Navionics chart. My guess is if you have a large yacht you already have better electronics and don't need this. If you have a small boat like and like to fish and water ski and you don't mind using your phone this is perfect. Great, inexpensive alternative. I would recommend under these conditions. It did take me some time to figure out the app. There are lots of complaints here about missing features that are actually there. Take some time to learn how to use the app.
5 ★Great app for my use. Use it at work and private. Had some problems withthe app, and the helpdesk helped me out very quickly. Best I have everexperienced anywhere. Thanks guys.
3 ★It's ok. But every time i reinstall it on a new phone I get the incessantlycomplicated process of authorising the map I bought before they introducedsubscriptions. Frustratingly complicated.
1 ★The app keeps crashing at startup on Android P on Pixel 2. Glad I didn'tsign up for a subscription. EDIT: This is not resolved by force closingother apps or by restarting the device.
1 ★Very disappointed in this app. Just bought Raymarine Axiom 9 with Navionics+. Can't connect app to it. As a previous reviewer mentioned, a big blue screen does nothing for me.
