The local organizer is the Brazilian Society of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
This Congress is unique as it brings together the most prominent researchers in the field of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, to present new work. Within the Congress we will hear the latest interpretations of new data from world experts, and discuss the implications of these findings for health policy and delivery of patient care.
The last ISSTDR-IUSTI biennial Congress, in Brisbane, Australia, received nearly 1,000 delegates, who came to hear the latest on these critical issues. Our goal is to repeat this successful experience in Rio de Janeiro.
This year’s STI & HIV World Congress is being held in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, a city that recently welcomed the world to the Olympics. Our local organizing committee has been hard at work ensuring that your time here will go beyond the scientific experience you have come to expect from ISSTDR-IUSTI joint meetings.
