CGS Comunicazione Globale per Sordi è un servizio realizzato da Segni di Integrazione – Lazio che permette alle persone sorde di comunicare liberamente con tutti!Grazie al finanziamento del Comune di Roma, il servizio è gratuito per tutti i sordi residenti a Roma.
Si può utilizzare in diversi modi: Sms, WhatsApp, DTS, Chat, Email ed implementato con il nuovo sistema di video-interpretariato ITA-LIS così da essere usato da tutti i cittadini Sordi.
Gli operatori sono tutti interpreti LIS professionisti.
Il servizio funziona attraverso una piattaforma accessibile sia tramite web che mediante una APP.
La persona sorda, dopo la registrazione, può comunicare con una persona udente scegliendo lo strumento più idoneo alle proprie esigenze (computer, tablet o smartphone)-.
I servizi che si possono scegliere sono:
• Relay Service (RS): un “servizio ponte” adatto a tutti i sordi, che via Sms, WhatsApp, DTS, Chat, Email possono comunicare con l’interprete, che chiama l’udente richiesto.
• Video Relay Service (VRS): un “servizio ponte telefonico” dedicato ai sordi che usano la LIS. La persona sorda può attivare una comunicazione video con l’interprete che, a sua volta, telefona al numero richiesto. Il cittadino può quindi segnare in LIS e l’interprete traduce, via telefono, dalla LIS all’italiano e viceversa.
• Video Remote Interpreting (VRI): un servizio di video-interpretariato su prenotazione. Questo servizio permette ai cittadini sordi di avere un interprete a disposizione direttamente dal cellulare, tablet oppure pc e sostenere colloqui di trattativa a distanza (es. uffici pubblici, visite mediche, colloqui scolastici, ecc.).
