Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Great until recently. It won't find anything when I scan the barcode
1 ★No import/recovery; developer is MIA.
5 ★Bought it to keep track of all my Comics and DVDs and it is great.
1 ★Latest update: Support for Android 4.4 which was released in 2013. It's now 2016 and Android is up to 6.2 with Android 7 around the corner. How about updating your app more than once every two years? I am convinced they did this update just to make it seem like the app is still being updated. Don't believe this dev, this app has not been updated in years and latest update didn't add a thing, again they just updated it to fool you into thinking it's not Abandonware. This dev has developed not working on app.
3 ★Developer used to provide great support, but seems to have just left the app coasting on its own for a couple years. Sadly, this is still one of the best home inventory apps out there. For over a year I've been planning to customize Memento database to use instead, but this has still been working well enough, and is easier than seeing up Memento. More and more bugs showing up have me thinking a long sit with Memento is coming soon. Very sad, as this was a great app.
4 ★For a person with a rather large home library this was such a huge help. Now I know what I have on the shelf. When I come accross a book in a store, I don't have to call home anymore to find out if I already have the book or a very similar title. I can just check the app and all my books are listed. As a great added bonus, it also stores your movie and music titles. Excellent app!
5 ★I have many books that I've scanned into this app. And have owned it for over a year now. But the only problem is, ...now...I'm not really sure why, it has decided to NOT let me scan the barcodes of any books and then log them into the library! It scans then says "not found...etc." Even with a book that I already have scanned before! If this can be fixed, I will use this app for a long long time!! :-)
5 ★I have a rather large collection of DVDs and CDs, and have frequently bought a new disc only to find later that I already owned it. I was looking for a way to inventory the collection and discovered this app which allows you to scan the barcode and it will save the info and provide the disc artwork. Give it a try if you need an inventory tool for your movies, books, and music. I think it's about $5, and well worth it. I just bought a new Samsung phone and couldn't figure out how to move my collection from my old phone. The developer, Shubie, spent a lot of time with me this evening (via emails) to help me get this accomplished. I am really pleased with this easy to use App and have recommended it to many friends. Try the Lite version for free and it will give you an idea how easy it is to use.
3 ★Added small portion of my book library 150 books and it became buggy. Cannot edit many of the entries, add cover pictures anymore it auto selects pictures from other titles in library if no picture, freezes when trying to edit information on books sometimes actually says there has been an error but often just turns screen black on my phone. Using Samsung Galaxy S4 new with an anti virus. Until fixed leaving this review for others so they wait to spend their money on a less buggy product. Works sometimes.
4 ★Precisely what I was looking for, especially the ability to sync with other household members so we can keep track of the Library. My one complaint is that it isn't available on the Amazon Appstore. One of my family members has a Kindle Fire and it would have been perfect for her. Besides that, love it. Five stars when added to the Amazon Appstore.
3 ★Installed literature version and scanned in odd books very quickly in batches mode. Some don't get cover pics which makes the bookshelf view poor. Would like much more flexibility in presentation there. Had crashed once: no reason known. Can't get to batch mode now either.
5 ★Exactly what I needed. A few minor glitches but nothing that can't be worked around, and I'm sure they will be sorted out soon. I know this app will be at the top of my favourite most used apps. Thank you!
