4 ★Let me start by explaining why I'm not giving this app 5 stars. There are two things missing from it that would make it perfect. --1) There is no control for ringtone volume. I would LOVE to be able to adjust the volume of the ring through so it's not as intrusive. --2) Alternate texting app support. I don't know if this is even possible given how MANY texting apps there are. I use Textra as my default texting app, but texts can't ring through because Textra isn't supported. ***Everything else is spot on.
5 ★Absolute necessity! This app has become a 5 star app I recommend for everyone. Lets me hear from people I need to even when ringer is off. Came in handy last week and possibly saved a friend's life. If you're in a meeting you can deactivate all for the time being to keep it truly silent. 5 stars!
3 ★Love the idea of golden silence except for callers/messages on my white list.. Unfortunately, there are a few annoying glitches. When someone is on your white list, the volume is always maxed and there's no way to control it. Also, it doesn't seem to work reliably. Sometimes a white list call or text will not ring at all or the alert/ring will startle you by arriving 10, 20, 30 seconds late or more.Managing the list is a bit awkward too.
5 ★I usually keep my phone on silence when I'm at work but I'm always afraid of missing an urgent call from family so this app is just what I needed it. I tested and it seems to work just fine. I only noticed that "Activate All" and "Deactivate All" is misspelled. I hope that gets fixed :)
2 ★my contacts consist of google and other exchanges. This app however limits to only those saved to the phone while my contacts show everything. Other apps have this as a generic feature. Hence I cannot recommend this for ease of use to family members
3 ★I like the idea of this app, but it only works about half the time, which is frustrating because i wanted to use this in the office so only business calls ring through, but i would miss calls that didn't ring even though the people are whitelisted. Smaller issue is that you have to add people to the whitelist one at a time. It would be great to add groups, or at least multi-select Contacts to add. Not to mention you can't control ring volume
4 ★Happy to have a WHITELIST app! Seems to work well. However, the "Sleep time, Silent Manager will stop itself in this time" feature is UNCLEAR. Also, I haven't been able to use the "Long click on any item to have help". Please clarify!
5 ★Must have app buddy has to be at work at 4am and his phone was on silent.Just change the contact info for the ones it shows for to the person youneed to call or message make sure both icons are lit up and boom yourFriend is on his or her way to work because of this app.. Tyyyy!!!
2 ★For Samsung Note 8, this app stopped working when my phone is on silent mode, which defeats the purpose of this. Please fix or refund purchase.
3 ★It does what it is suppose to do, but I think there needs to be a few user options. I would like to set the volume of my white list callers and be able to keep the texts silent when I Activate All. An in-app settings and instructions would really be nice!
5 ★From all the apps I've used, this one works the best. Just wish the option of entering the phone into sleep mode and out of sleep would work.
