Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★I loved the app when it allowed listening to podcasts... I've tried: - clear cache/data - uninstall/reinstall - uninstall/reinstall last version - signed out of account I receive an error after sometime when I try to download an episode (queued for a while) and streaming doesn't work. I was able to listen to the episodes I had downloaded before clearing data/cache, but now nothing works.
3 ★Not sure this is the best way to bug report but pocket cast no longer opens on my phone, starts and dies without showing window or giving any error message. Usually a good app (although some of the more recent design choices are poor like making play last comparatively difficult to get to, I usually want to add new podcasts to the end of my play queue not the front of the queue which is inexplicably preferred in the interface)
2 ★App needs to be updated to work with Android 11 properly. So many problems with this app since updating. Multiple episodes will play over the other. It doesn't pause from the lockscreen. Doesn't stop playing when disconnected from Bluetooth device. The app has become impossible to use. Newest update 2/1 the pause on lockscreen still doesn't work
2 ★I recently updated to android 11 and got one ui 3.1 on my galaxy a70. Now multiple playbacks are appearing in the playback section on android 11. It increases, at first it was 2 then it became 3 and 4. Please fix this.
1 ★Their communication with customers is vitriolic at best--from updates, to outreach, to QA. Atrocious would be a complement. The app has gone from great, to garbage (the past two years). Now it crashes about 8x a day, on a new flagship device. Stay away, at every tier.
1 ★Doesn't do playlists - I like to save episodes I might not want to listen to immediately to different playlists, like for driving or for focusing, etc. This player doesn't do that anymore, which seems like an extremely basic requirement of a podcast player.
4 ★Awesome app. But I think the app needs more advanced searching features. Now, when we search something, it only shows results around podcast channel names. But for example, spotify also searches for episodes related to my search. I'm still using this app because of the beautiful UI. Please, consider my review and give us better search results :)
2 ★This app, with the rise of spotify podcasts is now obsolete. I find my most listened to podcast there and why not use it since I'm paying for it for music anyway. But the big issue is that Pocket Casts is annoying. I tried to kill the notification of a show I never finished but the only way to do that was to force close it. And then it came back. Annoying! App deleted. BYE!
3 ★Okay player, but definitely geared to people who are either up to date on all their podcasts or binge listen a handful of podcasts at a time. If you're working your way through the back catalog of more than a few podcasts, expect lots of tedious fiddling and double-checking.
1 ★Cross platform syncing is what brought me to the app . But after recent updates some podcasts randomly stop playing. Downgrading to one star because it is now happening on multiple different podcasts on different devices.
1 ★have been using this app for years, now I suddenly find it useless. to make it worse, the web player no longer functions for some reason and Pocket Casts simply will not respond to repeated emails. update- worse, if possible. still cant use the web player i payed fr years ago and still no response from developers. these people really dont give a damn. shameful Edit- happy to finally delete podcast republic has everything I need.
3 ★Edit: latest update seems to have killed the Widget for me. It seems now to go to sleep so the play button doesn't work until the app has been opened. Generally a good podcatcher but what's with the file structure? Why are all my download files jumbled up together? Why not keep individual Podcast titles in their own named folder. Also there doesn't seem to be a way of creating a virtual feed and RSS integration is ball aching. Aside from that...
