Description

"What is important is seldom urgent, and what is urgent is seldom important." - Dwight 'Ike' Eisenhower

Ike is a playful to-do list in the spirit of President Eisenhower's priority matrix. Organize tasks by importance and urgency. Manage tasks using intuitive gestures. Never forget a thing by adding due dates and location reminders. Go pro to unlock all the themes, widgets, the ability to add multiple reminders to each task, location reminders, images, and audio recordings.

Prioritize
Prioritize tasks, todos, and reminders into a priority matrix depending on their importance/urgency. The Eisenhower method, also called a priority matrix, was popularized in Steven Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. Prioritizing tasks upfront is the cornerstone of Ike; prioritizing a task is the first thing you do, rather than selecting it afterwards.

Due Dates
Add a due date to a task to give it a deadline. Due dates can repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or be customized to a variety of configurations, such as “every 3 weeks on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday”, or “every 3 months”.

Reminders
Add multiple time or location-based reminders to each task. Tasks with due dates have time reminders depending on if a due date is at a set time or is an all day event, and reminders can fire once or repeat. Default reminders for due dates can be customized in the app settings. Location-based reminders can be added and customized for arriving at or leaving from a location. View a map or get driving directions while viewing a task that has location-based reminders. The geofence detection radius can be customized as well as the detection time when arriving at a location.

Images and Audio
Add an image to a task to add more information about it, or to jazz it up. Images are seen directly in your task list so you don’t have to dig for it. Add audio recordings to a task using Google’s speech to text. Audio is played directly from the task list, and a speech to text is shown while the audio is playing to make it easier to access. If you want to quickly add a task with a lot of information, audio is the way to go.

Notes
Add notes and descriptions to your tasks. We give you an entire screen to add whatever detailed information you want.

Customize and Celebrate
Celebrate your accomplishments with delightful animations, and visualize progress as you complete tasks. Task lists can be customized with a variety of color themes, some free and some pro.

Widgets
Create widgets to add, edit, complete, and view tasks. We currently have a quick add widget, a task list view widget, a task chip widget, and several matrix widgets to efficiently get an overview of your to-do list.

Ike is free to download and use.
For a one time purchase, upgrade your experience to Ike Pro to unlock all themes, widgets, up to five reminders per task, images, and audio recordings.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★This developer stopped doing business in 2016. Emails are bouncing. No support. If your paid app has a problem, too bad. That being said, the app is good for setting lots of alarms, but it doesn't automatically play your recordings (like a custom alarm). You must press the play button. When the alarm goes off, it just plays a standard alert notification, so the recordings are of limited use.
2 ★This is a tough one. The free app is pretty excellent. But the pay-for features are not worth the money. I am very frustrated by the widgets, which do not update and are unsortable. You think the default would be to sort by due date but it's just a random sort and there's no way to get it to re-sort. Also, they don't properly update. If I open the app, it tells me of something due today, but the widget says the same item is due tomorrow. Very annoyed as I thought I'd found the ideal app for keeping track of things. Turns out that's not the case.
5 ★Hi developers, I love your app and I would like to see it become the the best one in it's category. I would like to share my observations for improvement. 1. This app would be absolutely helpful if I could have it syncing my Google calendar with the tasks in each category (urgent important etc.) 2. I would pay more for the ability to export and import my task and to-do list into printable documents. 3. Most users would agree that, If needed ,we should at least be able to sync all our devices
5 ★Simple. Useful. Free! I have been super productive (and not just 'busy') since using this app. Very easy to use and the progress meter is a nice touch. While worth 5 stars without this, it would be nice to be able to set sub-tasks within an overall task, which all need to be completed before the main task can be. eg. Before completing 'Do laundry', you need to complete 'put load in machine', 'hang out', 'bring in', and 'put away clothes'. Not for everyone, but I'd make good use of that function
4 ★Missing one thing...Cloud. I love this app; however, I use multiple platforms. it doesn't make sense for me to always have this on my phone when I'm working on my Mac or my Surface Pro (yes, I use both). when I'm in a meeting and I want to log a quick to do, I dont want to lull my phone out of my pocket. So...cloud would be nice in order to support different platforms.
5 ★Itvwould be even better if you would be able to sync two or more devices such as a laptop and a phone for more accessibility.
3 ★I almost really like this but a few things ruin it: 1. every time you add a new task you get an annoying suggestion like "see dentist". 2. It takes several steps to move a task to another list. For example moving something to "tomorrow" is something i need to do often. In the app "Any.do" i can just drag stuff to the tomorrow list. 3. It doesn't remember changes unless you press save. Again, Any.do is faster to work with, as it just saves as soon as you type. Hope to see these fixed.
4 ★This is a really great app, that helps keep me organized. I love being able to have multiple lists (work, household, personal) and to easily prioritize the lists based on urgency. Also, being able to set recurring reminders is great for those tasks you have get done every day/week/month. What keeps me from giving Ike 5 stars is the lack of flexibility with reminders. You can set recurring reminders for a certain day of the month (like the 1st or 4th), but there is not an option to get the reminder on the first Saturday of the month (for example). I have many tasks that I wish to be reminded of every month, but if they all hit on a Tuesday, I am not going to be able to get to them right away. Similarly, I wish that when you snoozed a reminder, you could choose for how long. In the case of my weekend tasks showing up on Tuesday, I would like to be able to snooze for multiple days. Other tasks, I plan to do sooner, and would love to be able to choose a 15 minute snooze or 1 hour depending on the situation I encourage the developer to add these features, giving more flexibility to recurring tasks and reminders. Thank you!
3 ★Great app but improvements required. Instead of tasks appearing as notification it should come as an alarm. It's really difficult when those notifications come & go.
3 ★Great app. The one feature I'd like to see added is tagging. The problem now (for me at least) is that to sort out different tasks now by category, one has to create multiple lists, but that prevents one from seeing all tasks from all lists in one unified view. I would suggest that you do away with the discrete lists and replace them with task tagging. This would allow users to tag various tasks and organize them much as they do now with lists, but instead be able to view either all tasks regardless of tag, or only do a cut on a specific tag and see all tasks with that specific tag
5 ★I liked this app so much I bought the pro version on the first day I used it. Since the pro version is only $2, it's a much better deal than the ones that charge a monthly fee. I really like the way it organized your talks into the 4 quadrants. Until I leaned about this app, I did not know that concept went back to Ike, but was familiar with it from Covey's 7 Habits book. There is something helpful for me about having tasks in the different quadrants and knowing where I need to give my attention. I also like having separate lists so that I can separate work and home items. You only get two reminders per task with the free version and 5 with the pro version. If you need more than 5 reminders, you might want to reevaluate your workflow. The additional color themes in the pro version are nice, but I wish we could customize the colors. Another nice feature is being able to rename the quadrants. Different people will have different ways of organizing their workflows that suit their individual situations the best. For me, Ike is a great solution. It is simple but has great features. So glad I found it.
5 ★This app is a godsend. As someone with adult ADHD, this tool is simple and efficient to use and has totally changed my life. The upgrade version is just a few dollars as a one-time purchase and well worth your money. I do not normally bother rating apps, but Ike has been so wonderful I have to recommend it. Personally, I use a full-sized widget on my home screen between my work and social apps so that I see it more frequently and check up on my tasks. Simply a wonderful experience.
