Description

Ultimate Alexa is a full-featured voice assistant that uses the Amazon Alexa voice service, and is the first app on Google Play to support Alexa’s Display Card technology – like the Amazon Echo Show. Hear and see weather forecasts, to-do and shopping lists, news headlines, Wikipedia entries, and much more. Support is included for both phones and Wear OS watches. If your watch doesn't have a speaker, your connected phone's speaker will be used.

Wake up Alexa on your phone by either saying the “Alexa” wake word or tapping on the big button. You can also activate Alexa from your notification area, the resizable widget, or by saying "OK Google. Start Ultimate Alexa" using the Google Assistant.

You can even set Ultimate Alexa to be your default assistant, so that it listens for the wake word all of the time and can also be woken up by long-pressing your home button.

Upgrade to the Pro version and you can wake up Alexa by simply shaking your phone. If you have a Samsung device with a Bixby button, the Pro version also lets you use that button to talk to Alexa.

On your Wear OS watch, just tap on the big button or say "OK Google. Open Alexa".

You have full control over when the app will listen and respond to your commands. You can also choose from several different Alexa voices.

Support is included for every Alexa feature Amazon allows, including:

• Making phone calls.

• Reading and sending text messages. Support is included for most messaging apps, including Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, your phone's SMS app, and many more.

• Playback of music and audio files stored on your phone or tablet.

• Reminders, timers, and alarms.

• Repeating alarms. For example, you can have Alexa wake you up every morning.

• Calendar entries. Hear and see your calendar items.

• Reading of Kindle books.

• Smart home device control.

• Access to local information: businesses, restaurants, movies, phone numbers, and more.

• News, weather, sports, and traffic.

• Fun and games.

• General information: Wikipedia entries, math, unit conversions, and more.

• To-do and shopping lists. See the list on-screen and have it read out to you.

• Shopping on Amazon.

• Access to thousands of third party skills.

• And much more!

Calling and Text Messaging Availability: These features are currently available in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. A separate Alexa skill is used, which can be enabled by installing the Phone Link app, at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.customsolutions.android.phonelink

Music Playback: Due to restrictions imposed by Amazon, music playback through voice commands is limited to music stored on your device as well as 3rd party skills that support music. Voice commands cannot be used to play music from Amazon and popular services such as Pandora and Spotify.

Amazon Echo Device Owners: If you are looking for Amazon's Alexa app, that provides remote control and settings for your device, download it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amazon.dee.app

Some optional features of the app use an accessibility service, and the app will prompt you to enable this service if necessary. When replacing the Bixby assistant with this app, the service keeps track of the current foreground app. When it detects the Bixby app in the foreground, it launches Ultimate Alexa to replace it. Additionally, on devices running Android 9 and lower, the service makes it possible for the app to share the microphone with other apps by pausing wake word listening whenever an app is in the foreground that may need microphone access.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★I'm trying to get Alexa on my LG Stylo 6 and it wants me to make an Amazon account which makes no sense so I'm not using this app
4 ★You say Your can't play music from Amazon. I use Alexa to play music from my Amazon music app all the time. I just did it today, what you mean you can't play music from Amazon using Alexa. If you thought the voice commands was limited then would you subtitle it 'The Voice Assistant'. That makes about as much sense as flying a plane and having an old blind mule as your co-pilot.
3 ★I really only use the WearOS version now as this is pretty much the same as Amazon Alexa. The WearOS version works ok but very slow in opening the app. Serms to take an age albeit it works quite well. Developer did offer to reimburse my payment for this but it wasn't really worth the effort. So thank you to the Developer for the offer. If the startup speeds up on my watch it will get a better rating.
3 ★If you want Echo Show style visuals on your Android device, then this app is for you. Otherwise, the Amazon Alexa app can do just about everything else. I was looking for a way to enable Alexa voice commands from my phone, while driving, especially while using my Android Auto app. While this app does allow to do that, enabling the Alexa wake word disables the Google Assistant wake phrase (OK Google), which I still need when using Android Auto. So I still cannot use them both.
1 ★Wouldn't touch this app. Purchased yesterday and has been a nightmare. Voice either triggers for no reason or when you adjust that setting it either doesn't work or takes 3-4 times to say Alexa to work. I defo avoid this app and save your money. Look elsewhere folks. Update: Tried suggested steps from developer. However issue presists. Removed app...
1 ★Why must the wake word/phrase contain the word alexa? How utterly ridiculous. Why even have an option to change it at all? I guess, so you could say, "Alexa suck it..." If it wasnt for that, I would have bought the pro version. Remove that restriction and I will. Definitely not ultimate, uninstalled.
4 ★I have a 3G phone and I didn't find a version of the Amazon alexa app.
1 ★App does not stay resident and must be launched manually. If it does stay active in the background it pops up at the oddest times for no reason then responds with that it does not have a response. So far I found no real advantage to this app. Even turning off the back button to close setting does not stop it from closing.
5 ★It's awesome! Alexa can answer just about any question you throw at her! Plus, she tells stories, plays auto games that you can play, too, tells jokes, and so much more! She even sings songs! I love this app, and definitely recommend it!
1 ★Installed along side the Official Alexa app on the household tablet.. At the 50% voice sensitivity it didn't register anything. At 100% it did, but took about 30 seconds to activate.. Beyond that it did nothing better than the Alexa app.. I didn't test the play music on the device feature, or the read txts and other functions because it was just too slow and resource intensive..
4 ★Seems to work great but would like the option to have the voice input triggered just by opening the app instead of tapping the icon in the app. It's not much but would like it to just work by me pressing my bixby button then speaking rather then press button than tap screen. Bought pro cause ads are annoying and I had Google opinion rewards I needed to use.
3 ★paid for this app twice. It charged me once for the Standalone app just for my watch and then charged me again to have it on my phone. it would be beneficial if there was an option to permanently keep this running in the background I've noticed that if I clear all running apps from my phone this constantly goes away I would like to keep it up at all times so that it's always listening for the Alexa wake word I don't think that's hard to ask when you get charged for a program twice
