LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. Additionally, LA Wallet offers the paid service VerifyYou™ Pro, an age-verification tool that helps keep businesses ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods.Latest updates

In coordination with the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles, LA Wallet now enables users to carry a digital version of their vehicle registration! Access your digital registration effortlessly by tapping on the 'Vehicle Registrations' credential on the home page. Manage and view your registrations directly within the app.In this release, we've expanded the ability to link your digital vehicle registration certificate to include secondary owners.

1 ★Will not allow creation of new account. Silly "Oops" message appears. Called customer support and they told me to "umm delete and reinstall" which I have already done. Support says "umm its a connection issue and to continue trying and call back later". I have already tried many times. My phone works just fine for all other apps and can stream HD video so apparently the issue is not with connection but with the app.
4 ★I like the idea but so far have not found any place that will accept it. I tried to cash checks at 2 different banks and neither would let me use it as a valid ID. Like i said it's a cool thing to have but worthless if you can't use it. Update 12/18/19: this thing is still absolutely usless. No place accepts it. They need to pass a law requiring its acceptance.
2 ★I downloaded the app after reading it was being offered for free for a limited time. The first screen that appeared asked me to see up an account, I clicked on yes. The terms and conditions appeared, which I was to accept. The problem I have is the $5.99 you're required to pay when accepting. It's supposed to be free!?
4 ★Love the concept. Innovative and useful. It has already come in handy for me a couple of times since its release, but it shows the potential for more. I would love to see updates to include more licensing such as Conceal Carry Permits, Hunter Safety cards, etc.
3 ★love the idea of the app but it is useless until everywhere gets onboard with accepting this as valid i.d. Everyplace that I have tried so far has never seen it and does not recognize it in place of a physical i.d. I lost my license on a friday night and needed something to get me through the weekend but having the app was no help. Glad I got it while it was still free so I can just wait until using it becomes more widespread.
3 ★Works fine for me, I downloaded it when it was free. Tried to setup my wife today and the Google Play store won't accept a payment. Just keeps saying declined no matter what card I use. And your password requirements really suck! You don't need all those ridiculous rules for a secure password!
1 ★meh. looks cool but crashes as soon as I scan fingerprint in. I'm sure there's an easy way to fix it but this seems like we're fixing a problem that didn't really exist to start with. cool idea. poor execution and no real need.
2 ★Why do we have to reset the password every so often & why does the app acts as if I'm using a new device? The purpose of this app is for convenience. Having to reset too often is very inconvenient. I used to have a swipe pattern, now the app requires a pin. Make up your mind.
1 ★I was hoping to be able to use this app, but it will not recognize my Florida drivers license. The drivers license number section will only accept numbers, my license number begins with a letter. Uninstalled it because it's useless if it won't verify my credentials.
5 ★After a couple of days trying to get the app working and a little frustration with support they were able to resolve my issue. 2 thumbs up for their following up and resolution. Works great !!
5 ★Part #3... Two days ago I wrote to "LA Wallet" support/build team. Praise must be showered where due. I have never in my nearly 40 years of computing gotten this level of EXCELLENT service! FINGERPRINT WORKING!!! Very good App. It is easy to use and, so far so good. One issue and Not with the App but who is accepting it... it's a new rollout so it takes time. Part #2... after an update I can no longer use my FINGERPRINT to open App! This should be resolved. FORCED to use PIN. PLEASE One Love
4 ★It works great, but I am frustrated at how many people won't accept it. Usually it's because they need to make a copy for their records. It was also irritating that I had to pay an extra fee to install and use it, after I already paid for my license.
