4 ★It's a very nice, clean, and simple to use app.. I have to update my review since I don't get most of my kickbacks anymore because they say that they can't find the purchase in the system. Then when I send them the proof of purchase. They say the establishment hit their claim numbers. Not at 5am they didn't. Until you fix it. My review stands the same as you not giving me the credit due. Update: Not as many problems and getting better. More establishments are getting involved.
5 ★So far, it seems quite easy. Of course, at first, I was skeptical. But after carefully using the app to earn and receive the benefits, it was amazing to see the results. Then, after careful consideration and checking with my bank, I linked Upside to my personal checking account for direct deposit. I wish I'd known about Upside sooner! Will update if needed. Thanks. 2 ★For the most part the works. The problem I've had with it tho is the app logged me out of my original account and would not let me back in. I had quite a few referrals that I was getting extra back from. And from time to time the app won't recognize a purchase and I lose out on that one. They also may it nearly impossible to reach someone over these issues. I'd give more stars if I could get back into my original account and was able to talk to someone. For now 2 stars is all I'm giving
1 ★Incorrect prices on gas stations. Usually 25c/gal higher than what the app says. So you'll drive to a specific station with a good price for the cash back benefit, only to find it works out about the same as your local station since you get a little cash back, but the price is higher than expected. Tried it a couple times and didn't find it's worth it. Less time, effort, and miles to just find the lowest price gas on a reliable source like Google maps. Plus no waiting for the cash back.
1 ★I need to add a new card but it is IMPOSSIBLE to do. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to get any help. It appears Upside is not interested in helping anyone, talking to anyone, or having any other means of contact. I saw the "solution" from another customer. Total waste of time. Hey, Upside, either make your app user-friendly or I am gone. No loss.
5 ★I've had it about 2 years now and I've saved over $60. might not sound like a lot to everyone but to me every dollar counts. it's super easy and connects with your card(s) so you don't have to carry and upload receipts usually. where I live it has offers with TONS of locations so it's really useful. highly recommend for anyone buying gas or a lot of takeout.
2 ★Great app most of the time. The connection between it and the report on how many purchases have been made, via emails received from Customer Support is not always accurate. And when asking about this issue, the help I received was not effective or helpful. I also received a notification as I opened my app last day of last month saying I almost had enough purchases for the promotion (like, one to go), but I actually I needed 3 more. So, that is disheartening & discouraging.
2 ★Very disappointed the cash back %'s went to practically nothing after only using it 3 times. I started using the app 11/20/23. Claimed & submitted 3 times for rather small purchases in an 8 day period. Got 8% back twice & 7% once. Total for all was $6.10. After last time using on 11/28, % dropped to 1% cash back & hasn't budged from that. A referred friend uses it at same store, on her 5th submission (small purchases) Her %'s are way higher! I should just delete the app! What's the point?
1 ★Was one of the fortunate enough to have downloaded the original "Getupside" app when they were brand new. I used this app so much that my first cash out paid for my new tires on my car, within a year. Since then they have taken every great deal away and have only added a select few options for food and groceries. I'm sorry if you just added this app, you missed out bigtime on the huge savings it used to offer! Anyone who's had this app for a few years will vouch. RIP to a once great app...
4 ★Pretty easy to use , but they have caught on to the discount stacking and limit "cash back" in some circumstances. I've only had it for a couple of months and have saved about $40 with minor issues. It's about taking advantage when able. But I don't give out my banking information. I don't recommend that anymore else does either.
2 ★This app was great until I got a new debit and every attempt to add it to my wallet failed. I contacted upside, and all they said was, our team that handles this has been notified, we will contact you shortly with a resolution. That was like 4 months ago and still haven't heard back and still haven't been able to add any payment method to my wallet.
5 ★Good app. Nice layout. Easy to use. A lot of savings opportunities. I would like a FAVOURITES or STARed tag so all my favorites filtered to the top. Used the app at a restaurant for the first time. That was very cool to save an extra 8%. Just be aware that as fuel prices drop the saving will drop too. Regardless, money is saving money!!! Update 01/01/2024. Still using the app. Got 5 other people to join too. So I can get residual saving as well.
