Description:U.motion is a visualisation system for house and building automations that have been constructed with a KNX basis.
The U.motion Communication app enables you to communicate with U.motion touch panels from your mobile device and with a door station via audio/video applications (e.g. with a Ritto door station).
Functions:
- Video and audio communication with door station
- Sending of DTMF tones (e.g. for a door opener)
- Direct regulation of loudspeaker
- Up to 3 compatible door stations can be configured
- Selectable ring tone
- Communication between several mobile devices with the installed U.motion Communication app in the same Wifi network (interphone function)
- Spy hole function
Configuration and start-up:
U.motion Communication visualises the configuration of a U.motion server; no further programming is necessary. Once you have entered the appropriate network parameters and log-in data (e.g. IP address, server port, telephone number, password …), communication is enabled.
Requirement:
U.motion Control requires a communication link to at least one door station and one of the following U.motion servers:
- U.motion KNX Server Plus
- U.motion KNX Server Plus, Touch 10
- U.motion KNX Server Plus, Touch 15
Notes:
If you are connecting the app to a U.motion server for the first time then a one-off transfer of all relevant data will be made to the app. The duration of this process depends on the transfer speed and the scope of the configuration. You can only operate the functions once this procedure is complete.
