How to install iOverlander APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download iOverlander APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:
Update Phone Settings
Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK
Go to Downloads
Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.samchristiansen.ioverlander.droid-v1.1.62-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.
A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.
Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading). As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

3 ★With no clear way of finding actual over landing trails, this app appeared to be pretty useless, especially considering it's intended use based on the app description.
4 ★I downloaded this app and for some reason tapping on most of the menu has proven futile. Originally gave one star but changing my review due to the advice given. It works. To make it user friendly, most other apps offer the convenience of asking you upon opening if location permissions are allowed. I suggest adding that to avoid frustration
5 ★So sad. It was such an amazing app that I recommended to dozens of people! Now no longer works, it opens but can't click a list or open the map. Only thing you can do is click on settings or check in history... EDIT FIXED - go to your apps and notifications. Click on permissions, and grant the permissions. The app will work again. Close your app, and reopen with permissions granted! Found fix in earlier comment
3 ★Quite handy, lots of user added info. Downside is the actual maps cannot be downloaded and are constantly streamed from Google instead. This can make the entire app essentially useless when you're without data and need it most. I'd prefer to have the app take up multiple gigabytes of space on my SD card instead of constantly streaming. Also there is no filter or way to search/post bathroom locations only showers... it's the most common and basic bodily function.
4 ★Great app. We use this app a lot and contribute as much useful stuff as we can. The only improvement to make it 5 stars would be to have an icon to differentiate between good Motorbike Wild camp/informal camp spots and those more suitable for vans and also better search facilities i.e. typing in an area/location into a search.
5 ★Workaround for the latest update! First the settings. Location permissions are changed in your PHONE settings, NOT in iOverlander settings. Close iOverlander Open the phone Settings Tap Apps or Application Manager (depending on your device, this may look different). Tap the app you want to review. (iOverlander)Tap Permissions. Change the location permissions for the App Restart your device Open iOverlander and use it again.

5 ★Amazing resource for people on the move, or people wanting to overland or just get out for a night. I use this every time I'm in an area I'm unfamiliar with, and have checked out local spots as well. Well worth the zero dollars spent.
4 ★So far so good for a user generated site app. I would add a favourites button to save spots you find interesting. Of course it does give you the option to open in google maps so you could just save the location there, but a fav button in the app would be convenient.
5 ★Awesome free resource! Wouldn't have known where to go in my van without this app. Reviews of locations are entirely dependent on whoever stayed there, but the app is a great platform for people to put down viable places to stay for the night. Thanks for making this!!
5 ★Best free app for finding the things you need when traveling. User inputted info for campsites (free or pay), water fills, RV dumps, mechanics etc. We have found some GEMS! Please use responsibly and clean up after yourself, don't leave broken glass, don't be loud, don't trespass etc. Make sure these resources stay available and enjoyable for others.
1 ★Inaccurate information, whom ever is running this does an extremely poor job , few months ago I updated places that are no longer there and no changes have been made to the app. Itll send you to neighborhoods where once there was a camping spot and now there are houses.... To say that changes are made following users input is falls and misleading. No changes were made to places I updated as being either closed or unavailable.
