1 ★This app is super, super sketchy. About a year ago, Roadtrippers seemed like a better app and company, but now it's super money and data-hungry. You have to sign up for an account to use it, and they limit features greatly unless you pay. They recommend you give them all your data like what car you drive, your phone number, and your email so they can sell it. Very disappointed in this app, and will go out of my way to tell others not to download. You aren't sorry or you'd stop selling my data.
1 ★They took perfectly good Campendium and turned it into this unusable pile of garbage.
2 ★Used to be useful, now they force a subscription to be able to plan a trip of any kind, autopilot or not. Garbage, immediately uninstalled.
1 ★Literally cannot use the app. It crashed Everytime I try to plan a road trip. Would NOT recommend. I tried with premium too. A waste of time and money. Just use Google maps.
1 ★Ive used it before and found some awesome stops along the way on a roadtrip. However the app doesnt work anymore. Everytime I try to plan a trip, the app glitches and freezes when creating a trip. I signed up for the free trial and would gladly pay for a subscription if ot actually worked. Bummed. Will be looking for a similar app that works
1 ★Elevation search for campgrounds goes from 6000 ft to 16000 ft. Totally WORTHLESS. There's a huge difference in a campground that is at 6000 ft vs 10000 feet and there's no way to sort them. Mad I wasted my money on this.
5 ★2ND UPDATE: Issue resolved, thanks!UPDATE: I updated app to latest version on phone and tablet. No change. Saved trips still do not load. Android app will no longer load my saved trips. Just says "Loading trips..." with spinner for 10+ minutes. I have a premium subscription. I can create a new trip in the app and then see it in the web interface, but neither it nor other saved trips are loaded by the app. Have cleared cache, data, uninstalled/reinstalled but nothing works. So, basically useless.
2 ★I loved the free version of this app in 2020, but since then, it has been declining. The AI (paid) version now is lame. The places suggested do not correspond to my interests and feel like they only suggest places close to the destination. There is no flexibility in how many types of places I can add. Won't be using this app anymore.
2 ★Unless it's a popular thing nothing shows up! We need to be able to add things and you need to get your people out in the USA and Canada for sure to start adding more spots and trademarks and etc etc! And help from the public tooo! It was cool when it first started out but now after all this time I want more from it and from different places too!
1 ★I have used this app for probably close to 10 years. I went to plan my next trip and can't do anything without a trial of a paid plan. This is very disappointing. I will be deleting the app to find a new one.
