5 ★I am easily able to find the mass that I need to make sure that the places that I want a camp are legal and it allows me to see which dates those locations are open.
4 ★I really enjoy the app and the tracking for seeing and measuring trails on the property. But a little disappointed with some of the maps resolution, especially when you're paying $15 for a specific map, unless I'm doing something wrong?
5 ★Great app for using maps created and exported out as pdfs. Definitely a must have for using maps on a tablet or phone while in the field. Favorite feature is the ease in exporting GPS data from site visits.
5 ★Great tool when hunting or hiking. I still use old school map and compass, and Avenza Maps as a backup and quick reference. Way points and tracking are tools as well. A must have app.
4 ★Saves me getting myself lost in the same-same near featureless country I get into. Tracking and the ablity to pin locations as well as insert photos are great for me. Can do all above while off line in remote locations.
5 ★I've tried every one that I thought could meet my needs, and Avenza is the winner. I'm even going to drop my Gaia subscription. To top it off, Avenza's customer service/support is spectacular.
4 ★Good app, sometimes the compass feature doesnt work and the arrow wont point in the direction your facing but most of the time it's good. Wish there were better maps to download in some areas as well but most major areas have good map selection.
5 ★This is just about the only map a person needs! No need for cell service, as it uses GPS satellites. Fantastic! Even when I get "lost", this app helps me find my way, AND avoid prohibited area!
4 ★Fun and informative. If you are walking the trails in Uxbridge or anywhere this app is really indispensable. Takes some getting used to but pretty simple once you use it for a while
5 ★I got this app with the intention of using it as a standard map, but was blown away when I discovered that it could show me where I was on the map and which direction I was going. By far one of my favorite apps. Thanks Avenza.
5 ★Use it for local management areas and DOD controlled area...works really well - even in poor reception areas Do wish for a 'Google map' download and overlay feature
3 ★Helpful guide without using data, however need to understand the direction ahead N, S, E & W. Using GPS satellite. Negative side: not included some Ontario parks and trail.. Just my opinion.
