5 ★After last update no longer get notifications or event recordings. No longer works like it did before the update. no longer works as a security system that will alert you of motion or intrusion. would be a 4 to 5 star if it worked as before the update. found that after the update you have to save in the snooze area with nothing checked and it works again as before.
1 ★ANDROID USERS DO NOT BUY THIS SYSTEM... Cannot log on to app. Downloaded and reinstalled. Still not working. My partners app works on iPhone. Android is not working. Also not being able to have multiple users is ridiculous. Lastly, emailed support 2 days ago and no reply. Still no reply well over a MONTH later. If I could give this app 0 stars I would. This is pathetic. Multiple users have made complaints for months and nothing has changed. If you don't support Android then state that.
4 ★Great technical support. App a little buggy but work enough that I can live with it. It used to be perfect 👌 5/5. For whatever reason image skip during live monitor. Also, when you program the camera for Person Detections or Vehicle Detections thru the app it will say "failed to complete" on some cameras. At least some cameras works and I can set detections. Hopefully there's some fixes.
3 ★Please implement a 15s and event bump feature so it is easier to navigate to the event history via the timeliness drag. The drag is great for shuttling through the day's timeliness but on a phone it is impossible to get it at the right spot. This means you have to try multiple times to get as close as possible to the yellow event line to view the event. This is hard to do on a phone.
4 ★Not entirely sure what happened. But having same problem everyone else seems to be having. I've had the app for a few months now. Updated my phone and now all of a sudden it says "Unknown Error" every time I try to login. Seems like a problem on your app. Please fix.
4 ★App is decent overall. Although, there needs to be security permission setting improvements for shared users. If my wife adds camera to her account I can only use same camera if she shares it with me to my account. However, I cannot check storage space or manage space (format) it with the permissions given.
4 ★I've never had this issue on any of my other devices but for some reason,when I'm on my tablet, I open the app and click on one of the cameras to view live, the program immediately force closes.. over and over again...I have tried everything...I've completely closed the program and restarted my device..I've cleared the cache and cleared the date in the app settings and that didn't work.... I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but yet it still force stops whenever I try view any camera live
4 ★I just installed a Lorex NVR security system and am highly disappointed so far. For one thing, only one of us can be logged in to the system at a time. I may have to return this and go back to Blink. Update: Lorex helped me with the multiple user issue. Thanks, problem solved.
5 ★I left a horrible review on this app but decided to change it. I could not receive notifications after the last update but I figured it out finally. For those that cannot receive notifications, make sure that you do not have anything selected under the snooze selection then press save to turn the notifications back on. The descriptions are somewhat poor but the app actually works great once you figure how to navigate some of the weird nuances.
1 ★Keeps giving me unknown error. Reinstalled and still does it. Everything is connected just fine, was working then suddenly started giving me unknown error. Couple months later and its doing the same thing. Such a let down in the middle of a hit and run on our vehicles.
4 ★03/31/21- Spoke w/ Costco support again. After reinstalling Lorex app, shutting down (not rebooting) DVR and router for 2 min, I restarted router, then DVR. App FINALLY discovers DVR, works now. Similar problem recently. MY FAULT. In network settings I had turned P2P off. Didn't think I needed it. WRONG. Peer to peer is needed for DVR to verify with their server when first installing or reinstalling system and app.
2 ★Having problems with this app. Tech support tried to help with limited success. Every time I try to login all I get is a network error and unable to do anything else. The app works fine on iPhone but not on my Samsung S9, so the problem lies with the android version. I rebooted routers reinstalled software attempt to change passwords, but still no luck. I even made sure that all the permissions were allowed for the app as well. At this point I am at a loss until the bugs are worked out.
