5 ★Installed easily. Cameras connected automatically. With a power drill mounting was a snap. Picture quality on monitor it sharp and bright in day light and fairly clear black and white night vision in the dark. The app is handy and you can view on 2 devices at a time so my daughter can check in on her kids at my house while I watch the whole front of the apartment building. Screen shots in a single click is great as well. WISH: ■Live stream could be uploaded to a cloud. ■App could view all cameras (4) on a single screen like the ■monitor. ■Less lag between action and video capture.
1 ★Events at playback is a black screen most of the time and not smooth if it's able to play. It's not my internet speed. Need to be able to fast forward for on playbacks. Display more recent events first. Need to load faster. Need to differentiate between motion activated recordings and scheduled recordings. This app is way under developed to be used. If Lorex doesn't improve the app per basic feedback received, it is my speculation that it will eventually lose a lot of customers as there are more and more better products out there with very competitive prices.
4 ★I had no major problem with this app so far, however, I would really appreciate the events to show up with the latest date first instead of the oldest so I wouldnt have to scroll down to the very bottom to see the latest. On landscape viewing, the channel select goes away. Hope future updates will resolve this.
2 ★We have 4 cameras but can't view all at the same time. You have to cycle through each camera and it will only work if your phone is on 4G/3G if it's connected to the same home network it crashes and locks up. Seems a poor app for home CCTV. Plus the app is ugly. If your charging the prices you charge lorex for your CCTV systems then your apps should reflect this price. This is worse than a cheap Chinese system app you could buy off eBay.
1 ★Just started last evening and along with every mosquitoe making the motion sensor go off. I am able to watch live feed. However, No motion alerts now at all. Kinda a relief. But I'd love to see the 100 times the thing did record thru out the night. Nope! Nothin! Black screen! Fix it fast before I return the entire thing and get another brand.
1 ★Closes when trying to open. Won't work on galaxy S5. Called support. They "escalated" it to someone else. One week later they don't have the courtesy to return calls. Where would it be if it WASN'T escalated ? 2.or 3 years? They don't return emails or phone calls. Their customer service sucks!!!!!
2 ★Every time I log into this app, my camera system reverts to vga quality until I close the app! That is not acceptable and interferes with the recording quality, so if you are using a tablet or phone to monitor your cameras, it defeats the whole point of HD quality. Customer service is nearly non-existent unless you enjoy creating support tickets that are not answered or hanging on the phone for over an hour, only to be cut off! Totally disgusted with FLIR / Lorex
