5 ★Best phone transfer experience I have ever had. Completely copied everything from my old Pixel to my new Pixel 3. It took awhile but it reinstalled all my apps except one that wouldn't run on the new phone. I did have to log back into some apps but that was probably asetting of the app. Even app placement and folder locations we're corrected duplicated.
1 ★Can't open the app even though it exists in my apps. Everything didn't transfer over during initial setup. Google support says look for "finish setup" in settings, which doesn't exist. Now the only option is to reset the phone and HOPE everything transfers over. Why can't I just open the app and select things I want transferred?? Retarded
1 ★Really disappointed. I ran through the data transfer tool at set up it failed to transfer sms, app data and a heap of other stuff. Couldn't find any helpful info other than to rest the phone to factory default. Did this 3 more times and they all failed. I will be returning the phone in the morning and swapping back to a Samsung.
1 ★Galaxy7 to Pixel3 didn't copy all data and unable to resume where it left off... I should have trusted my gut when it said I could continue with set-up while it was copying. Something stopped the copy process and I have to manually figure out what is missing.
5 ★after reading most the negatives on here, if transferring data from an older version android to a pixel, chances aee the data loss is because your data isnt compatible with the new system, because this works great. S8 to pixel, pixel to pixel xl, pixel xl to pixel 3 xl. all were fine except s8 to pixel because samsung run it's own hacked system. not clean data. they have their own messages email and a bunch of other in house apps that will not transfer data. FYI.

1 ★Will not allow you to transfer out pictures. Instead Google forces you to send all your pictures to they're cloud! Maybe good for Google but bad for your privacy. This is just one reason why I will not buy a Google pixel again.
