2 ★It's OK for drivers to cancel on you and not get fined, but if we do it after a certain time then we get slapped with a fee. It should be the same both ways. Too many times I've waited for ages, only to have to find a new driver. There is basically no customer support.
1 ★This app is a scam it uses to be alright once upon a time ago, the app let's you agree on a cheaper price but then accumulates extra fees up to $10 for tolls when there was never a toll.. no thanks I rather spend the extra cash on uber one knowing I will be paying to what I agreed upon.
1 ★Have used this service for years. However now, drivers accept a ride, then canceling it cause they think it's not worth their time. Can't report the drivers, cause it doesn't let you report a cancelled driver. After going through 4-7 drivers every ride request, I have given up and gone back to uber. Until DiDi finds a way to reprimand drivers. Dec 23 update: absolutely no improvement, support team is not helpful, didi does nothing on penalizing repeated cancel drivers
1 ★I requested a ride through the app. Driver started making his way to me, then drove past me as the ETA started increasing. I used the in-app message, tried to call the driver, he ignored me turning off his location, so I could not see him getting further away. He went from being 1km to 15km before he cancelled the trip. I missed an appointment and ruined plans for the day. Didi support gave me 2x$10 vouchers but refused to discipline the driver, plus ignoring my e-mails. I WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!
1 ★Trash customer service. wanted to sign into my existing didi account, but every time I tried it only lets me make a new account instead of giving a sign in option. And when I try to use my email it tells me the email already exists. No way to sing into your didi outside the app and no way to contact an actual customer support person. Use UBER instead! When I went to sign into my existing uber ALL I had to do was verify my email address and rest my phone number, and I was signed in. Fix your app
1 ★I was offered different prices for different route. I chose express and more expensive. Then the app changed the route to slower cheaper after driver went off. Unacceptable. Lucky driver gave me express route Update>>i complained to customer service and they said nothing wrong. I downgraded to 1 star due to incompetent customer service from 2 stars to rubbish app
2 ★Can't even log in a new phone with the account I already have created. Which means I cannot use the service at all! Honestly, the log in system is not intuitive, as it only gives you the option to create an account, but not to log into an existing one.
3 ★Aside from the inconsistent service, the app itself is acceptable with decent performance. The ads are horrendous though and it's not logical to load into the ordering a new ride screen if you are already on a trip and bringing the app back during multitasking.
1 ★Constantly logs me out and doesn't seem to have an option to log back in - just tries to get me to sign up again and then obviously I can't proceed because my email address is registered. Please fix! Edit - tried doing as the response suggested and clearing cache, no impact. Still can't access the app
1 ★The text messages wont stop!!!!!!!! I downloaded the app for something specific that the ad promised and they dont even deliver to my area and now its constant text messages and emails that I cant see how to turn off!!! Im not even sure which of the 3 is causing this !!
1 ★Was charged over $120 for a $50 trip. Here's the kicker, I never used the service and the trip on the receipt shows the driver taking an extended route and then ending the trip at the wrong airport terminal 7kms away. Was refused a refund. Disgusting service that I previously stopped using as drivers will accept ride and then cancel continuously for 20-30 minutes
5 ★The first driver drove off without stopping and couldn't pick up our calls. but the next guy was good. It would be good to be able to call through to leave a voice message to boss. To navigate to find what to report there needs a report that says driver never stopped. Cos it's a loop hole in system drivers can drive past never stop then by the time U report or call for help they say U were late when U weren't. Driver never stopped the car but drove past speeding off and claimed the ride.
