Aplicaţia a fost dezvoltată de elevii: Victor Chiriac şi Andrei Leuciuc de la Colegiul Național din Iași în cadrul proiectului: ,,EU includes U! Look for the ability in disability!’’ implementat de Colegiului Naţional Iaşi în parteneriat cu ANCAAR Iaşi şi Şcoala Gimnazială Specială ,,Constantin Păunescu’’ Iaşi. Proiectul a fost finanţat prin programul ACES (Academia Școlilor Central Europene) – act local și a avut ca temă incluziunea socială: ”Fiecare persoană este importantă!”Una din cauzele excluziunii sociale şi a marginalizării copiilor cu autism este faptul că instituţiile abilitate sau ONG-urile nu dezvoltă programe sau proiecte care să-i inveţe pe membrii comunităţii cum să comunice cu aceşti copii.
Inițiativa noastră i-a pus față în față pe elevi părinți și profesori și le-a oferit ocazia să dobândească și să-și dezvolte competențe de comunicare și socializare prin peer education, artă, sport și TIC cu scopul de a-i responsabiliza față de nevoile persoanelor cu autism. Proiectul nostru a vrut să transmită un mesaj comunităţii locale: discriminarea bazată pe ignoranţă şi indiferenţă face mai multe victime decât orice boală sau dizabilitate.
