Description
Speech Assistant AAC is a text-to-speech (TTS) app designed for people who are speech impaired, for example due to Aphasia, MND/ALS, Autism, Stroke, Cerebral Palsy or other speech problems.With the app you can create categories and phrases, which are placed on buttons. With these buttons you can create messages that can be shown or spoken (text-to-speech). It is also possible to type any text using the keyboard.

Voices
The voice is not part of the app, but the app uses the voice installed on your device.
For example, you can use one of the voices from 'Speech Services by Google'. It has female and male voices in many languages. If it is not available on your device, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
You can change the selected voice in the voice settings of the app.
Full version
The basic version of the app is free. In the settings of the app you can upgrade to the full version. This is a one-time payment for these extra features, there is no subscription.

4 ★I think this app is easy to use and works really good wish u had better options for the voice and it definitely worth upgrading to the full version only complaint is the iTune version has more options than the Google Play the iTune app costs a couple dollars more but I would happily pay more for a product with the same options
5 ★This app is fantastic !!! You can use a lot of languages, voices, ringtones and so on... You can use given phrases or you can create new phrases You can use ist to speak to someone or do make all kinds of announcements!!!!!
4 ★After a total Laryngectomy I struggled with paper notes, a white board, an Electro Larynx, all with less than acceptable results. I installed Speech assistant and was less than impressed.... until I mated a Bluetooth Speaker to my phone, results still aren't perfect but definitely worth the effort
5 ★Absolutely brilliant! It has improved my confidence. Very easy to use. 18 voices to choose from. You can adjust the speed and tone. Male and female. Use pre-typed words or sentences or type in when you need.

5 ★I had very few criteria for my AAC. I wanted a simple layout without distracting images and the ability to program phrases. This fills those criteria.
4 ★Good app. Some simple words are said strangely. Would be nice to have in free version to have some basic colour custom, like a 'dark' style.
