This application is a service of Singapore Government.Looking for a taxi? Land Transport Authority (LTA)'s mobile app, Taxi-Taxi@SG not only tells commuters the number of taxis available in their vicinity, commuters can also use the app to indicate their need for taxis.
Commuter locations will be displayed on an integrated map for taxi drivers to easily identify areas with potential commuters.

1 ★Dont ever use this App. Useless. I have used so many times. Its just keep on showing number of taxis nearby but god knows if free or not. Even though calling for Taxi through this App I never get any taxi. So this App is fooling people and waste of time. If there would have been negative star i would have given it. Most hated APP.
4 ★I personally am very happy for this. It's useful to have the information on hand to know what my chances of getting a cab on the road are. Ignore the naysayers who want the app to allow booking. I don't believe a government agency should be in the business of providing that kind of commercial service which is better handled by the private sector. Good job. Would love it if you could also distinguish between taxis that are free and those that have stated that they are changing shift. Perhaps ver. 2.0 please?
3 ★Right now it's just a beacon to tell passengers where the nearest taxis are, and vice versa. For this app to be good, it could use some additions:1. Confirmation of taxi booking. 2. A way for drivers and passengers to communicate. 3. Auto updated location of passenger and taxi. 4. Something to prevent either passenger or taxi from suddenly cancelling without penalty (so everyone has confidence to use this)
1 ★Folks, do some thinking...look at the dark side of my taxi system. --- This app is definitely useful if u are in a woo-lu place, then again won't u immediately just book a cab since its so woo-lu ?? --- Here comes the dark side, imagine 20 app users are in the same que, all indicated their presence. What would cabbies be thinking?? Most cabbies will avoid 20 app user area and WAIT FOR BOOKING. So why are u folks so happy our garment created this app ? 1 ★I was in Bedok but your app puts me right smack on the TPE. How much did it cost to build this app? LTA should ask for its money back. A simple function like locating me using my phone's GPS isn't even built right
5 ★This app let's me know the entire fleet of Singapore cabs whereabouts. This let me choose to walk towards the cluster of taxis or wait for it to come to me. The ability to have choice is freedom. other apps only let me make bookings, this app allows me to walk to the taxi and save booking fee! Thumbs up! ..........................*just kidding *
5 ★People around are just complaining for the sake of complaining. There are already many taxi booking apps around, we don't need another one. What we need is something that let us see ALL the available taxis around for folks who want to save on the booking fees. This is the app that does that. It is also especially useful in peak hours when NO booking app will give you any taxi. Pls continue to develop and work on this app. Good job!
2 ★Don't think it is useful. Try using it in cbd area and you can see lots of cab, but do you think you have the chance to board? why not just use the time and money spent on this app for other more important road issues.
1 ★I have better time using my eyes. And I tried the app more than once..failed me all the time. Even my taxi driver hate the app
4 ★I think a confirmation for hailing a taxi shld be added. It is now very easy to accidentally swipe your finger on the top right corner. A confirmation can be added so that accidents like this will happen less frequently.
2 ★Expected more from LTA. Feeble attempt to match demand with supply. However, a step forward nonetheless. Albeit being miles behind private operators. What happened to forward thinking?
5 ★Have been long time thinking of an app that can broadcast location when we need a taxi as taxi always cannot locate their client efficiency and effectively. Hope this can help taxi driver to save their fuel and get client more effectively and this will also benefit for those who do not want to book a taxi which cost extra. But I found there is a problem that this app inside building without GPS, cannot detect the actual position but Google map can locate the position correctly. This app help both party.
