New Best Basket è un progetto educativo organizzato per distribuire risorse sul territorio ed aumentare attraverso la pallacanestro e le dinamiche sportive la qualità e le possibilità di crescita dei nostri giovani.Lo scopo non è solo quello di sostenere una singola attività sportiva, ma, attraverso questa, dare l’opportunità ai giovani di inserirsi in un tessuto sociale con gli strumenti appropriati per affrontare difficoltà e risolvere problemi.
Senso di appartenenza, coraggio ed ambizione sono i “sentimenti” che vogliamo stimolare nel rapporto quotidiano con i nostri atleti e che riteniamo essere gli elementi costitutivi di uomini che si inseriranno nel processo produttivo e lavorativo del nostro territorio, garantendo quel senso di responsabilità necessario alla crescita della nostra stessa società.
Coinvolti nel progetto NBB ci sono 40 comuni, 14 società sportive per un totale di 1500 atleti praticanti. NBB è il punto di riferimento tecnico-didattico di tutto questo movimento: si sostanzia in una prima squadra ed un settore giovanile di selezione composto da atleti dai 13 ai 19 anni d’età.
Dal 2010 è stato attivato anche un impegno di reclutamento di giovani atleti provenienti da altre province e da altri paesi in collaborazione con il Convitto Vescovile S. Giorgio sito a Brescia.
NBB oltre all’attività didattico-sportiva produce una serie di eventi legati alla pallacanestro, attività benefiche e seminari di formazione professionale indirizzata alle aziende grazie alla collaborazione di coach Alberto Bucci e dello psicologo Fabio Peruzzini.
