Hier wil ik wonen is een app die jouw leefomgeving vergelijkt met een ander. Door het simpel invullen van je huidige postcode en de postcode met wie je je wilt vergelijken, kom je snel alles te weten. Je geeft zelf aan welke gebieden voor jou van belang zijn. Per categorie kun je een waarde toekennen op een schaal van 1 tot 100. De categorieën zijn:- Bereikbaarheid

- Betaalbaarheid
Door middel van Open Data worden verschillende bronnen geraadpleegd die bij elkaar een gemiddeld cijfer opleveren. Zo kun je snel zien hoe jouw woning zich verhoudt tot die van je toekomstige woning, of van een ander!
Het idee voor deze app is ontstaan nadat Rijkswaterstaat en het KNMI begin november 2015 een wedstrijd (de Open Data Battle) organiseerden wie het beste idee met Open Data zou kunnen bereiken. Met Hier wil ik wonen heeft Centric Software Professionals deze wedstrijd gewonnen! Zeven enthousiaste, vrijwillige professionals hebben zich over deze wedstrijd gebogen en kwamen na vele avonduren tot de huidige oplossing.
