An embedded notification counter replaces the traditional date/time counter that many analog watch faces make use of. This allows for seem-less integration of notification alerts delivered in a discreet manner to the user (perfect for business or formal events when you do not want to attract attention to yourself and your smartwatch).
The mobile companion Notification History app allows users to fine tune settings for the smartwatch wear app counterpart, this includes filtering which apps can send notifications.
