Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Does anyone at Google care about the complaints on this app? Is anyone home? My uninstall attempt is stuck on a loop for days ....
1 ★The app is broken and won't Uninstall. Bug app. Don't download!
1 ★They used to ask if I was willing to trade privacy for security, having become omnipotent, they don't ask anymore.
1 ★If I could give this zero stars I would. When this did work (the original device policy) it was great. Since this replaced the original Device Policy I have not been able to set up my work profile properly, and when I have been able to it stops working after a few days or weeks. Every time I try to it says it can not set up profile and when I try to set it up again it says it can't set it up, so have to go via website to view email/calendar all the time. I am a sole trader so no IT dept.
1 ★I will NEVER have a use for this bloatware,... I mean app, considering I am the employee, boss, IT, everything, nobody will ever need remote access to this phone. Please, Google, make this app removable cause plenty of Pixel owners will NRVER want/need this.
1 ★I didn't have this app on my phone until today. I have auto update off for a good effing reason. I have had my phone for a couple of months now. Somehow my auto update got turned on.😡😡😡
1 ★It's bloatware and unnecessary on pixel 7 or 8. It's just another way for Google to track you and sell your data.
1 ★Automatically installed on a personal device that is not used in a corporate environment. No apparent way to turn off. Opens device up to possible attack?
1 ★All kinds of permissions issues across my device. Apps that aren't given permissions still seem to access things unchecked. Other apps refuse to work at all without being granted permissions to things they don't need. Not sure what's Wong with the Android ecosystem but it is disappointing and frustrating.
5 ★For those that do not understand why this is an app. Google has decoupled OS features from core OS updates. This as an attempt to make older devices that don't get updates from their manufacturer frequently... more secure. This app may be used for business purposes to enforce corporate IT policies for phones, but the premise is the same as it being integrated.
1 ★Since my organization switched to this policy app, I no longer have access to my work calendar for my phone. I can't tell if that's how it was set up, or if there's something else wrong. Opening the app just opens a camera to scan a code which I don't have. It doesn't tell me anything about which apps have been authorized for my work profile. It's completely useless to the user.
5 ★For all you guys crying in the comments, you can disable this app. Simply show system apps. Wahwah
