Yes, you can rent up to 5 bikes at once! Just make sure to select the correct number of vehicles right at the beginning of your booking process.

No. We work hard with the cities to keep the streets clean and accessible for everyone. Please return your Donkeys to specific drop-off locations when you are done for the day.

Day Deals
In some cities, we have rolled out day deals which are great for when you just need a bike for the 1,2,3, or up to 7 days. Visiting for a weekend or inspired to explore like a local when you're on vacation? This is the perfect solution for you or a guest visiting you.
Monthly memberships
With a Donkey membership, you pay a fixed monthly fee and get a certain amount of free time per day. If you exceed the included daily free time, your rental is extended for a low fixed cost. Ideal for the daily commute and for a busy city life with multiple errands throughout the day. Valid in all Donkey cities.

1 ★It's been a huge disappointment to use this app to cycle around Amsterdam. There were problems from the start of renting, to locking and unlocking, returning, and confusion who got charged. Lack of clarity and smoothness of the app. Customer service was great but the app itself is not user friendly. Better to rent a cycle from the shop.

2 ★The app is easy to use, but bike quality is poor. 4 of the 5 I used in the past week would spontaneously change gears, making them borderline unridable. The fifth was a very smooth ride, aside from the fact that the rear brake was dangerously weak. These were all in Copenhagen.
3 ★Worked mostly and not too expensive. However, in Barcelona it was in hindsight a mistake as it seems to be the only provider without ebikes. In addition, my bikes did have a few kinks, with one the front light did not work, another had a loose mud shield and all of them had very tight gear switches. All in all, an ok experience but next time I will probably check the alternatives out first.
2 ★The App policies and services havn't been updated for a long time. Drop off spots are few and very limited, which gets unpleasant and as soon as having disturbing when having to be on time. On top of these important factors comes the overpriced rides 49Dkk on a 20 min ebike ride. Competitors with better bikes and availability have a price of 29 dkk on same ride. *Lower review due to service respond, clearly ignoring the feedback giving, of price/quality ratio in compare to competitors
