Description

The EE TV app allows you to watch live channels and shows on demand, including all the latest Hollywood blockbuster movies and your favourite TV shows.

Watch live channels, including the latest Premier League or UEFA Champions League action on TNT Sports, if it is included in your EE TV package.

Missed a programme or match? With the EE TV App, you can catch up on the latest shows from a range of channels, including Discovery.

How does the app work?

- All EE TV customers can use the EE TV app for no extra cost and watch programmes in line with their TV subscription
- Continue watching from where you left off on your EE TV box.
- Watch channels and programmes on up to two devices at the same time.
- Download content to watch anywhere anytime.
- Chromecast what you’re watching on the app to a big screen.
- Set programmes to record on your YouView box.

To watch content you'll need to be a EE TV customer with a valid EE ID or BT ID that's been associated to your account. You can register the app on up to four devices.

If you’re not an EE TV customer but have a YouView box*, you can still use the app for remote recording, and to view your list of recorded and scheduled programmes.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★Really not worth bothering with. Currently pushing nothing but pay-per-view sport and movies, premium sports channels, and AMC. Live TV is... Premium sports channels, Discovery (another premium channel), and AMC. I sense a theme and it's made of £££; on top of the BT TV subscription. Sure, one can set a programme from to record on the DVR. I cannot express just how truly underwhelming this app is. On the upside, it does not keep crashing and stays registered, which is more than some apps manage.
1 ★This and the Windows 10 app are absolutely the worst parts of BT's offering. 2 devices registered and 2 free slots, but it won't let me use it anywhere else. To cast they want yet more money. Windows app will consume a device slot but just won't work. I don't understand how there can be such a massive gulf between this service and the genuinely great BT Sport apps. Been this way for years now too, so don't expect them to lift a finger to sort it. Very, very, poor form 👎 EDIT: As you can see from the response below, this service is bananas. Don't waste your time - you'll do better with a dodgy stream, even if you pay these fools in excess of £100/month. Jokers.
3 ★The app on my phone works as expected however I am having problems casting to Chromecast. After a while it comes up with a CM007 error which is not listed on the website. This stops the playing of the channel and will immediately show up again when selecting a different channel. I can cast fine from other apps including bt sport so I'm not sure what the issue could be.
1 ★"We can't play titles on this device because of security issues. (GS015)" on a stock, unrooted OnePlus 3. Absolutely pointless app. Developers blame it on an app bundled into the OS that was removed in an OTA update a year ago, shortly after it was found. Somehow I can use banking apps, but not the BT TV app... Great customer engagement too, BT.
1 ★Absolute rubbish. After just transferring from a sky subscription to BT, this app is awful compared to Sky Go. You can't even watch free-to-air channels like you can on Sky Go. Only reason I switched to BT was Sky had got pricey.....suppose you get what you pay for. Will be switching back to Sky in the future. BT Pro Box is naff as well compared to Sky Q.
2 ★The app used to work reasonably but for the past 2 months I'm greeted with 'Login Required We've updated our security - please log in to the app again to continue (GJ970). I select log in and the log in page comes up. I enter the correct username and password then press next. Nothing happens. If when Login Required appears I select cancel, then the BT TV home page opens and I can see all features. I've tried clearing cache and storage, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work
1 ★Youview have decided to drop their app / save some money. What a terrible experience. App does not link with my Youview box and as you'd expect, nearly all features on there require a BT username and password. BT -this isn't a good look for you! Hopefully, with enough one star reviews (seems to be plenty already) BT might try to do something to resolve this. Edit: Speaking as a programmer of 30 yrs. A string can be sent to the box to initiate a recording. Thank you for editing your reply :-)
2 ★No where near as good as the youview app. The issue is that the BT TV will only allow me to record selected programmes not everything like the YouView app did. For example; I wanted to record the film Brassed Off which is on Film 4 on Wednesday 15th. The BT TV app does not give me the option to record it and gives me a message "to watch this programme switch on your BT box on 15th... So rendering the app useless to set recordings remotely. And I am a BT TV customer!
1 ★The app has issues chromecasting live TV. Every 20-30 secobss at a guess it will buffer. I don't have this issue chromecasting stuff that is not live from the app. It also might be worth mentioning I've also had the same issue on the firestick with live TV as well. I have no trouble casting other apps and also to mention my connection is fine.
1 ★The description of the app claims "BT TV customers can use the app to watch live channels... wherever they are." When I try the app tells me "To watch this programme please switch on your BT TV box and tune to channel..." What is the point of that? *Edit: Just one more thing BT doesn't make clear when selling their products. I was told that I would be able to view these channels through BT, so I considered it part of the package. This is not the only surprise I've had since installation.
5 ★Keeps telling me i dont have an account when i do. Now it is set up by BT. Brilliant app.
1 ★Was a great app for watching sport with my BT Sport subscription. However as of today that can't be done. I just get ads for film rentals from BT Cinema every 5 minutes. No option to turn off. This is on all 3 Fire TV sticks it is installed on around the house and my Android mobile. Someone has messed up big time somewhere. If this is not fixed soon I'll just cancel my sub. Disappointed. Autoplay trailers are switched off and every 5 minutes my channels cut out and I see film ads. Simple.
