A igreja Presbiteriana de Irajá, com seu ponto de reunião na Praça Honório Gurgel 237, tem sua origem no momento em que após uma Assembleia presidida pelo Reverendo Laudelino de Oliveira Lima Filho, no dia 06 de setembro de 1944 decide-se pela fusão da Congregação de Irajá com a Congregação de Vila da Penha, quando então passa a chamar-se Congregação Cristã Presbiteriana de Irajá-Vila da Penha; ambas filiadas as Igreja Presbiteriana de Madureira e Presbiteriana do Rio. Foi nomeada uma comissão pelos irmãos Reverendo Laudelino Oliveira Lima Filho como presidente e os presbíteros José Alves Marcondes representando o conselho da Igreja de Madureira e presbítero José Vieira Simões representando o conselho da Igreja do Rio.Latest updates
