Install eyeMon on two Android devices. Simply start eyeMon, run one device as the Capture device and the other as the Viewer device.

Sit back, watch and listen real time audio video streamed from the Capture device to the Viewer Device via WiFi.

Configuration

We suggest that you update the default password to be the same, on both devices.

There is no need to change any settings, but please have a look and see.

Battery Monitoring

The Battery Level of both devices is displayed on the Viewer Screen, alerting you if the Capture Device is getting low on battery.

Alarm on Loss of Capture Device.

The viewer device constantly checks that the Capture Device is alive. If the viewer detects the loss of the capture device an audible alarm sounds, this will stop when the devices are re-connected.

WiFi Connection – With or Without Router

eyeMon can work where there is no available WiFi.

By default eyeMon will work via a router, but when no WiFi is available, on the Capture device, set ‘Use a HotSpot’ via the config screen, then connect to that Hotspot on the Viewer device (via the standard devices settings)

eyeMon creates a HotSpot (eyeMonHotSpot) so that the Viewer device can connect and run as normal.

Smart Image Rotation – ‘Image Up’

eyeMon implements the idea of ‘Image Up’. This configurable option will ensure that the captured image will be displayed the same way up on the Viewer Device, irrespective of the rotation of the capture device.

Port Forwarding

If your firewall permits, you can use Port Forwarding on your router to keep an eye out from an external network.

Image Rotation – displayed video on its side

Some Android devices rotate the on screen video (earlier devices rotate the on screen video by 90 degrees). If your video is on its side, then update the ‘Rotate Image’ setting via the ‘config’ screen. You may need to do this for both devices.

Have Fun

We are sure that you will have peace of mind and loads of fun and using eyeMon. There are loads of other applications that it may be used for, so let your imagination run wild.

Cool Features.

We have invested considerable effort in making eyeMon not only as simple and as easy to use but as reliable as possible,

It is loaded with loads of really handy functionality such as battery monitoring, an alarm on loss of capture device, image up (where the image will always be displayed the same way, irrespective of the rotation of the capture device)

We have loads of extra functionality that will be coming out in future releases.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
