3 ★the app could be better I get notifications days after they were sent sometimes not at all & my notifications are on. My other apps drive me crazy with notifications this one is the most important app I have and it hardly works. My child's teacher said we don't have to pay for the upgrade just to be notified of any messages from the teachers or the principal. fix this otherwise it's a useless app. My daughter wants to play the monster game and it keeps kicking her off.
4 ★Great concept. Presumably still a little in its early stages, but with tons of potential. It's wonderful to get updates about your child & be able to directly communicate with her teacher(s). As with anything, it is only as good as the users' participation.
5 ★Pretty cool app. It's easy to use, and the kids' section is cute. It is a FREE app, haha. I didn't think it was when I first signed up and paid, but then I realized there is an X button on the top so you don't have to. It's just something to be aware of. I thought I was going to lose connection to my son's teacher, but all is good.
1 ★I used to love the App. But now that my son switched schools I no longer get notifications when his teacher sends me a message...I didnt find out my son needed a change of clothes at 9am until 8pm🤬🤬 when I checked the app & realized the teacher messaged me but this stupid app didn't alert me of the new messages+ I have tried Uninstalling & reinstalling...Resetting the app etc and still it doesn't alert me of new notifications- messages!🤬🤬
3 ★I feel that u should not have to pay for this . Some r single parents with several kids ,r out of work per doctor order, an could be just really struggling an therefore their children miss out. I believe this could definitely be provided by the school system. All children should be able to enjoy this app an be scored & get those points for the point store. But should all get all the same benefits from the app . Sorry just saying Thank U Just MY OPINION!!
5 ★This is the best way to keep in contact and up to date with all that's going on at my kids school. I really appreciate it. she loves getting points too. It has so many different feature that make communicating with staff so easy, seeing what homework is for the day, what's happening at the school, all updates, all the fun stuff going on, the weekly newsletters, and so much more. There's even a way for the kids to go on with the parents and design their own avatar and have fun. It's really great!
1 ★Was going to rate two stars, since it intro'd me as being able to give my son points during its introductory walkthrough yet promptly locked that feature behind a paywall. But now I'm irritated because I'm seeing updates from his teacher from last year (who didn't even have the app last year) and have no way to unsubscribe from that without bothering the teacher. Maybe there's a way, but if writing a review is easier than figuring it out, I figure they've earned the low rating.
1 ★Constant notifications to get you to upgrade. Some of the features are just helicopter parent friendly, like read status on messages. Creepy. Basically $60+ a year for emojis and to save photos, which any other app would have it for free. Also, the passive aggressive, show your teach you care by upgrading is scummy and gross.
5 ★Class dojo is so helpful for the teachers because teachers can take their attendance, no more on the paper or somewhere else, and they could save it and students should listen to the teacher because teacher gave them points, so every student wants a point like they wanna be first and all that stuff, so student will be on task, and if you want to practice to be a teacher, you could do it, this app has everything, and if you want to practice, be a good student, then you could practice. Thank you ❤
5 ★I have a lot of anxiety when speaking over the phone so dojo has allowed me to chat with my kids teachers,give awards ( my favorite part!) they like dressing up their monster,even my teen thinks it's cute. App runs smoothly, simple to see messages, everything is in one place and navigation isn't confusing. I wish my mom would've had an app back when I was in school. I think it's helped a lot of parents who aren't involved feel like they r a part of their child's education...that's important. 5/5
5 ★Great piece of kit. excellent for communicating between school and parents. only downside is you're stuck behind a fairly prohibitive pay wall if you want to fully interact with the software. its not expensive, and I totally understand that software developers also need to eat - just thought I'd mention the pay wall thing.
2 ★This is app is great. . . When it works. It always seems to be one feature or another that just absolutely does not work for a period of time. A couple of months ago I couldn't open my kids' point summaries. Now I can't open messages. I have three messages from one of the instructors and I can't even open them. Kind of a big issue.
