Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

User's Reivew

1 ★Does. Not. Work. Feedbooks doesn't even load. Pure garbage.
1 ★This app doesn't support authentication login.
2 ★It seems rather pointless, since any good reader app has OPDS built in, in most cases with a much better presentation than is offered here.
2 ★Needs updating so that you can grant write permissions to write to the sd card.
5 ★I love the simplicity of the app. It pulls files off of my server and doesn't have a bunch of useless junk bundled with it.
4 ★But needs some improvements though.
3 ★The covers are super small. Only a few pixel on the screen. Book formats are weird (epub.zip and the like). There should be settings for default download location per format. Awz3, prc, mobi to Kindle folder, epub to others. And it would be nice to have thumbnail view.
1 ★Everything I download has ".zip" added to file name. For example it downloads as "Book.epub.zip" you have to rename each file you download before you can use them.
4 ★This app is a simple OPDS browser and so far I like it. I would like to see some updates soon. Namely the ability to search feeds for books and the ability to edit a catalog already entered.
2 ★It's really difficult to choose a new download location (must enter an exact path). Using OI File Manage would be a good idea. Additionally, it should download the files with the given filename. Epubs, for example, it downloads as "Book Name.epub.zip" so the books won't open in your default eBook app until you remove the .zip.
