Description

Puffin Web Browser is now subscription-based. In addition to the existing $1/month subscription, two new low-cost prepaid subscriptions are available at $0.25/week and $0.05/day. The exact price is subject to the tax, exchange rate, and Google's pricing policy in each country. Puffin's monthly postpaid subscription offers Android's standard 7-day free trial. Puffin's short-term prepaid subscriptions allow users to pay for Puffin only when they need to use Puffin.

The yearly subscription is retired, and existing subscribers should switch to the monthly subscription when it is time to renew.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 β˜…It was one of the best browsers in my browse list. Uninstalled forever and for good after the dumb daily limit. I know you need to profit but at the moment you do daily limit access you are clearly stating you dont care about customers, straight and simple. Theres no excuses in why daily blocking exists. Im not even going to come back here and read about new updates. You had your chance, it failed. You guys arent kids So... kgoodbye
2 β˜…Good but bad at the same time. I have a monthly subscription to take ads off and to use the browser throughout the day without problems yet im still getting ads and sometimes it says ive used my daily usage qouta please fix your f--king app
2 β˜…I'm not sure what happened but I keep on getting ads, it's like I don't even have the unlimited access anymore even though I am a subscriber ($1 a month). This started yesterday please fix and I'll fix the ratings
1 β˜…Forces you to pay when its chalk full of bugs not worth paying for and i really hate the new update if get rid of those damn annoying ads time limit put it like it used to be back when it was a great browsers and they proclaim it's lightening fast that's a lie although it wasn't a few years ago. extremely slow if people don't buy it's because it's not good enough even consider buying it anything if anything it will stop people buying it and they do useless that doesn't do anything regularly
3 β˜…Was good but lately the forced intrusive Lengthy adverts (min 30 seconds) complete with one hours capping has become unusable. Ok I understand ads keeps you boyant but surely you should give options to quit after 5seconds (as YouTube does) Please give these2 things a thought
2 β˜…Flash works, but endless adverts and a browsing limit (unless you pay up). Yeah, I'm not happy being coerced to buy something. To curb abuse so servers can be used fairly by everyone? That's the oldest excuse in the book. Be honest and just say you want to make money off of people who play flash games.
5 β˜…Well, Im giving 5 stars.. people nowadays want everything for free and it cant always be like that, developers have a right to earn money, but,but , buuut ..the ads are kind of excessive
5 β˜…The app is unironically deserved the five stars. Here's a list of the features Desktop Site Request Image Refining Mouse and Gamepad Find in page Flash player with theatre mode The ability to switch between three different browser engine on the fly With TV linking All they're asking for in return is $0.99 (+tax) a month or $9.99 (+tax) a year. I highly recommend this browser. Seriously, I'm willing to bet money these one star reviews are coming from the same people with Netflix and Hulu.
3 β˜…Fast page loading but you've to regularly watch a full page ads to continue to browse or else I don't know what kind of punishment they'll meet out and every adult pages that you've visited shows up on speed dial automatically for all to see .
1 β˜…I have been paying the monthly subscription fee for a few months now, and suddenly I not only get banner ads, but the intrusive "watch this ad or GTFO" popups. Why am I paying you? Time to unsubscribe.
1 β˜…Used it for years, good browser, then they started slowing down, pushing ads. Annoying, but stuff I could live with. Now they have a daily data limit in the us unless you buy a subscription. This kind of behavior is why net neutrality is important.
1 β˜…Why even is there a time limit now? They've got ads for 50+ MILLION people that have downloaded this. They HAVE to have so much profit from this otherwise they're being greedy. Edit: Yes, my Samsung S7 is VERY "high-end" to be able to mainly play 8-bit games.
